About survivors queue times - The answer
So, I've noticed that every single day there's at least 2 new threads about survs. queue time.
To stop wasting everyone's time about it I'll give the quick answer:
KILLER MAINS ARE QUITTING THE GAME.

Yup. I'm a 50/50 player and as of now I have zero hours played in the last two weeks in DBD.
I moved on to Apex and have been grinding achievements on games I've previously played. Once you clock in a certain amount of hours the game starts to feel stale, especially given we only have one mode to play.
I think this is another reason why there are more survivor mains than killer mains. When you're playing in a SWF the game has more longevity. Solo survivors and killers get burned out pretty quickly.

Im rank 4 at the moment and my queues are at best 2 minutes for survivor. Is this meant to be bad?

It depends on the time of day and your location. Like right now for me, I can get in a game as a survivor in less than a minute (It's 8:15am here in my part of America). As the day goes on though for this area, that time will get higher and higher. I've never hit the dreaded double digit wait times but at least if people on the forum here are to believed, there are places where you're getting 10+ minutes of queue time as a survivor.

Oh yeah in the evening it gets to about 5 minutes (EU West)
Maybe games like WoW with their 40 minute DPS queues have conditioned me to wait lol

I decided to have a proper gaming session yesterday played all day and my wait time was instant all morning and afternoon even at peek times from 6pm - 11pm when I called it a day the longest I waited was around 45 seconds maybe 1 min max. I'm on the EU server if that makes a difference and maybe these comments are from a different region but honestly I don't understand where all these posts are coming from. Is it killer mains in disguise trying to scare the devs lol or are people over exaggerating. I've never waited longer than 5 mins for a survivor match in my entire time playing the game and I'm at devotion lvl 12 so I don't understand.

It's not only killer mains it's survivors as well, people are just tired of the same bullshit with this game and with the way bugs have been, crappy "events" if you can even call them that , it's no wonder people are starting to leave hell I've been a loyal player for years now, everyday before and after work and for a big amount of time when I was on disability for an injury not working I was always on this game and even I've just kind of dropped it as of recently only playing a couple times in the past week, BHVR had better start focusing on something other than a cash grab all the time if they want to keep this game going, one day they'll reach out and have a big pile of crap in their hand and no money because everyone will eventually leave if this continues.

It is unmotivating being a killer with so many nerfs to killers and recive teabags, jokes and insults after you couldn't kill anyone but gave your best, many survivors are very unsporting because most of them don't play killer and don't know what it costs to be killer, they think that the tunneling is toxic on our part but they don't see the genrush that they make and the pressure they put on us

So I definitely see the point but I split between Survivor and Killer and have to say the most unmotivating thing is the matchmaking. If you are a level 14 killer and your survivors are levels 1, 4, 5, and 12 you're gonna get frustrated. Its a match that shouldn't have been made. And if you get several in a row you're gonna leave. It stops being fun when the game is seemingly purposefully putting you up against survivors you cant beat because matchmaking isn't doing it's job.

Also, most survivor mains play killer in a while, get matched with potatoes in ranks 13-20 'cause they don't play as much killer then go "killer is easy enough"

It’s true. I used to play as killer for 2-3 hours everyday before my break. Right now, I can’t bear to play a single match in 2-3 days.
Until devs address problems with the game overall, I think I’m gonna stay like this, and maybe even drop the game entirely.
Sorry survivors, your queues are getting longer.

Yeah I also remember when I was rank 12 and the game put me against red ranks, I was very angry because it made me super unfair, I was jumping from lobby to lobby looking for survivors that did not look like red ranks or I tried to lower the rank but it took a long time to do, until one day as green rank said mmm sh*t go to hell I'm practically a red rank because I always play with red ranks and in fact since then I started to keep going up until I reached rank 1 so what I mean is that do not get angry because the game puts you against those ranks because it will not stop doing it accept the transition and you will see that soon you will also be a red rank killer, if it helps you improve against survivors red ranks I still continue choosing games Without keys, without many toolboxes and I use the son of light against premades when they carry many flashlights normally survivors do not expect a killer to use that perk and it gives them many surprises, the only thing that continues to bother me is the toxicity of some teams when the game ends if I win they criticize me for my hours played and if I lose they make fun of them and tbag in sometimes in that unasport behavior takes away my desire to play as a killer and I'm going as survivor, but when I see the queque is when I say to myself with that frustration of being a killer I understand why there aren't so many killers

My survivor ques are almost instant, guess killer mains in my region still play.
