A complete writeup with more details, exact numbers, and mori that nobody asked for can be found here.

I know a lot of people are against the idea of a FNAF chapter, which is fine, but I figured I would try to adapt one of the franchise's characters into a killer in a unique way, especially since no fan-made FNAF chapters I've seen actually deal with the main man himself, and I have yet to see a FNAF fan chapter with a survivor, so here we are.

I have way too much time on my hands, so making custom killers happens to be one of the things I do as a game balancing/creative writing exercise. I am super open to any criticism, since I love balancing my killers and making them fair.

The idea was to make a killer who would move and navigate a chase without ever being seen moving until you go for the kill. While survivors look at you, you appear to be not moving, when in actuality your soul is moving around freely. This would lead to the fun visual of staring at the killer, turning around, and seeing the killer right there.

Obviously, this is a mechanic that can be severely abused by SWF, since all they would have to do is gang up on the body and stare at it the whole trial, affectively preventing the killer from taking action. This is where Fright mode comes in. Since fright mode charges while being looked at, survivors have to decide whether to stop the killer in his tracks, or stop feeding him his power. In a way, its like reverse stalking. Instead of charging while you stare at a survivor, it charges while survivors stare at you.

Fright mode would allow the killer to pursue survivors normally with a slight speed advantage, adding an endgame to survivors bullying you by staring at you endlessly. If survivors try to bully you, you can just charge up Fright Mode and then chase them down with your chase benefits of crashing through pallets and having increased speed.

But once again, this led to a new problem popping up that took me a bit to figure out what to do. Survivors can stare at the body from the maximum allowed distance (24 meters), which would put them at much less of a risk to be caught when you go into fright mode. The initial thought was to decrease the range, but that felt weird since it is the same range as ghost-face's reveal. So instead, I came up with Disruption.

Disruption can effectively force survivors to change their plans by granting you the ability to call your body back to your soul without interference, at a cost of 25% of the power gauge and a short cooldown. This can disrupt their formation, and allow you to get closer to survivors before triggering Fright Mode and chasing them down. The 8 meter range of survivors limit is there so you cant just appear in front of the survivor and hit them before they can be spotted, without there being any counterplay.

Of course, this is all meaningless because there is no way to test these mechanics, but I was bored so you guys get this novel that no one asked for. Since this is one of my hobbies, I have a ######### ton of killers in the vault that I'll be making images and infographics for, so expect some more in the future.
