In all my time playing, I have had like 2 or 3 survivors give me pity kills. I know I that I have let someone go via hatch or door way more than that.

That’s just you, though. The average killer does not give hatch or free gates. I’ve given tons and tons of hatch escapes but I can count on both hands the number of times I’ve been given a free escape when playing survivor. Merciful killers are by far the minority.

If you offer some killers a kill most pick you up and drop you at the exit gates anyway.
Same if a killer drops me on the hatch, i appreciate it but i dont want a free escape so i dont take it and killer either hooks or the entity takes me.
Dieing or escaping is whatever, the reason im still playing after all these years is for fun. Points, rank........couldnt care less.

No. That's one of the reasons I stopped giving hatch to survivors. I did give killers a kill though either by not saving a teammate or going to the basement myself if he played fare but the ods were stacked against him

I have personally sat by a hook to be hooked with some killers if I did enough in the game to not care

Yes survivors give sacrifices. They do it more often than killers give hatch/escapes. They do it most often when they just give up or get tilted and suicide on 1st hook. Next up is the suicide rescues where you try to save some1 knowing it'll probably fail or you'll take their place but u don't really care. Then there's the rare times when there's a killer whose probably a baby killer and I give a free sacrifice.

Killer main DFP here reporting from low ranked, full-time job hell; Survivors do occasionally give us the sac.
Funny enough, i see it more often from swf groups.
They seem to swing between two extremes with the sac; T-Bags for days or the rare pity sac, more commonly given by way of egc.
Happened to me last night in fact, was trying to just get Demo Dailies out of the way and got utterly stomped by a purple group and a red. The only guy who didn't was a purp with a red key, they even left me a map at the hatch and elected to point it out before joining our dear entity.
Honestly the nicest thing I've had a bunch of survivors do.
