If you want the Cosmetics or are a completionist, go for it. If you dont care for either of them, dont prestige.

Well you get three cosmetics for free and don't waste a grind if prestige EVENTUALLY get reworked as they said.

(You don't know with devs priorities, we've been waiting for two years for that vigil rework).

Like @Aven_Fallen said, unless you like the cosmetics or are interested in achievements, it's a waste.

It says it increases your luck in the BloodWeb, but I'm pretty sure that isn't true.

I mean.... I like my Dwight serial killer.

The big thing to keep in mind about P3, is that if you go and never do it, and get someone every perk in the game at first time 50.....what happens if you decide you want to P3 them later? Suddenly you lose ALL of that, millions and millions of BP go down the drain.

So going P3 is often a waste; but so can not going P3- I suggest you only P3 the characters you REALLY love to play after you have all necessities that matter.

It's a complete waste of time unless you want the cosmetics, in which case you do you and I genuinely hope you have fun doing it because it is a GRIND.

I would say just to have it, you can prestige your main character. For cosmetics, it only makes sense on Blendette, otherwise it is a BP waste. If you don't plan to put thousands of hours into this game (like 6000k or more) then you shouldn't be thinking about prestige until all of your characters have all perks unlocked. You need like 4.5 - 5 million extra BP to get a character from P0-1 to P3-1

There should be more to prestiging up than getting some cosmetics, especially because in the end anyone can prestige. You're not being rewarded for skill, which would be a bit unfair, but you're being rewarded for the amount of time you spent on the game. It would be rewarding the people devoted to your game. The lack of anything useful makes it a waste of BP (unless of course you just like the cosmetic).

  • They don't want to reward a narrow pool, they want to reward people for dumping a ton of time and likely money into the game to keep them doing it.

There were talks about Prestige Rewards, but nothing came up since then. I doubt that those will be anything big, because in the end, while anyone can prestige, nobody should be forced to prestige. Some players have their Characters onl P0-50 for years, have all Perks unlocked, full of Add-Ons. Would be wrong to give them the choice to either miss out on something cool or to get everything again.

For me it's worth it because I like to complete things, and having that message show up to prestige on every bloodweb is really annoying.

Also because I main Quentin and he has no cosmetics.

That's what I said though... Getting to prestige 3 doesn't take any skill, it only takes time. In other words: if you reward people for prestiging, you're rewarding them for their time put into the game.

Yeah... That's true it's something they should have taken initiative for earlier. Personally, I don't mind even if I just unlocked all perks on every single killer without prestiging. I just see it as a trade off that would benefit me in the long term but I can definitely see it being an issue for other people.

I always leave a few random characters at lvl 50 so when Anniversary events roll around, I can prestige them and cost efficiently stock up on Gateau cakes, as almost every bloodweb level during those events has cake, and the earlier levels are less expensive.

This 5th years cake (following in tradition of past years) should be a value of 105% BPs
