How to Counter Decisive Strike?
I tend to play killer more than survivor, and after 80 hours of gameplay I've managed to hit rank 10.
I've been getting placed against rank 4-8 survivors, and almost all of them have this perk. What do you do to avoid getting stunned for ages?

There's not a whole lot you can do.
You can slug, but most people who run Ds use it with Unbreakable.
Try and get it out if the way as fast as you can. It's still going to sting, but it's better to get rid of it early game opposed to late game.

Exicutoiner can hard-counter DS by sending a survivor to a game without having to pick them up.
The ability to mori also counter's DS. Be it from the cypress mori that onlt needs the last survivor and requires no previous hooks, or from the likes of say devour hope.
If trapper or hag you might set a trap near by then pick them up and see if you get lucky.

I'm still pretty new, and don't have any red level mori's yet. What other options can I try?

You don't because you can't. Slugging will mitigate it, but it is not a counter. And no just "stop tunneling" is not a counter either. Kind of sucks, but they are going to nerf it in the next chapter (I really hope so).

Not red, yellow. Red requires you've hooked (and there for picked up) a survivor. But yellow only requires they are the last survivor.

I've never heard of a yellow mori countering anything.

Best advice I can give you is knock people down throw em on a hook When they are unhook down em again and have a clock If they get up hit em again and reset the clock..Yes,I have done that before

Get a partner to play killer/survivor duo and be on comms all the time, so they can help you. It makes the game more balanced.

The counter only exists for pyramid head then. He is kind of the only exception besides mori's and devour hope.
The problem with the mori's tho is that you still have to play around DS until the survivor is on death hook and downed again.
Devour hope has a really small chance to actually get 5 tokens, it is pretty uncommon to see.
Also, killers don't run any of these often for the most part.

I'm not sure how to explain this in a more simple way that does not sound condescending... You see, DS can only be activated when a killer picks up the suvivor. With the yellow more you do not have to have every picked them up to kill them. Do you understand now?

Slug or eat it. If they have unbreakable to complement it, you get that out of the way. If you take it, which is usually the course I take, you don't have to worry about it later.

But if you're in the situation where the last survivor alive is on the ground with Ds, you can just stand there and wait it out. With a yellow mori you could kill them quicker, but waiting a minute and then picking them up is still an option. Hence, they don't counter Ds.
