I don't like using second chance perks but...

The games I keep getting keep going bad with all the camping and slugging and tunneling and what not. I like the new build I've been using but oh well, time for all the second chances

If you have them use them lol

There is nothing wrong with second chances when killers can slug, camp and tunnel. Everyone can use whatever they want to win if it's in the game and allowed to be used.

If it's in the game, there's no reason to not use it. All you're doing is putting yourself at a disadvantage. Even if I'm running the infamous chest build, I still have Dead Hard in one of my slots, it's just a given.

Use them if you want, there's nothing wrong with that. The problems around second chance perks are more that people using them often pretend that all's fair and balanced and that they aren't just playing to win. Which is fine, win all you want. Good luck.

  • Go ahead.

I mean, killers mostly expect them every game anyways. Just don't take meta perks and then complain about how a killer plays, it becomes rather silly to be bringing and doing everything on your end to stay alive; and then getting mad at a killer for doing anything they can to kill you.

I don't use them anymore because I realized nothing you bring can compensate for bad teammates. Besides, I don't get slugged and tunneled all that much.

If you actually want to have a better experience, I suggest you bring kindred. That perk often times makes a huge difference. And yet not many people run it. Instead, they complain about how miserable the solo queue experience is.

I run kindred and the solo queue experience is still pretty miserable. You can give your teammates all the free information they need, they still often make awful decisions.

That's true, but kindred definitely helps out a lot more than second chance perks.
