MMR?
So... has the MMR system been enabled already or what?
I know that there hasn't been an announcement of it being re enabled nor anything, but today is the first day I'm back to playing in like two weeks, I'm in red rank of survivor and all my matches have been against yellow/green rank killers except one or two.
This is unusual, because there are usually a bunch of red rank killers playing at this time of the day in this particular server. And I've heard this conspiracy theory (?) that MMR was actually re enabled silently to test how it goes without everyone going nuts about it.
So... is it only me, or is matchmaking actually being weird right now??? (Weird meaning weirder than usual, of course).

There's already a thread on this, and yes most of us can say the same as you. Red ranks coming across a lot more grey/yellow/green ranks than before the reset that just took place. Its very noticeable and any one that tells you otherwise is full of it.

But that’s not all; once we are happy with matchmaking ratings and turn the system on for good, we’ll be introducing rank rewards. Since ranks will no longer be used for matchmaking, they will instead be repurposed to reward dedicated players. Each month, everyone will be given Bloodpoints based on the highest rank they’ve reached and then be reset to rank 20.

That makes sense! I thought it would be announced right before it was re enabled so that's why I was confused. Thank you for letting me know!

See, that's one of the things that confused me. Once ranks no longer play a part in matchmaking but instead reward dedicated players, does that mean ranking up will be easier now? If I play every night for a couple of weeks, will getting to rank one be more obtainable than before? What does BHVR consider a dedicated player?
