PC - Depipped and 5 minute matchmaking lock for another player D/C??

Description of Issue:
Suddenly disconnected from a game as a survivor. Post-game lobby showed killer had D/C'd. It said I'd progressed -1 in pip but my number of pips showed as the same so I assumed that was a bug. Leaving the game, it showed that I HAD de-pipped and that I was locked from matchmaking for 5 minutes. Super frustrating to be penalized for the killer D/C'ing a few mins in. So either my game showed everything incorrectly in post-game lobby or I was unfairly de-pipped :( Either way I'm frustrated. Only way to tell I guess is to see if it happens again since no apparent internet issues when I checked immediately after
