Which is the best designed killer, aesthetically?
So... among the original killers, which one do you feel has the best "looking" design overall? Taking their backstory into account, who they are, what their power is like, and also how "scary" they look. Only the OG killers for obvious reasons.
Please specify which one in the comments, since I had to put some of them together because the poll allows for a limited number of options.
This is about the killers' LOOKS. Not about how balanced or strong they are.

Spirit / Oni
Oni may look bad*ss from afar but he is also completely terrifying when coming straight for you with Blood Fury.
With this being said, I think he definitely looks the coolest. His cosmetics aren't the best though.
2nd place would go to Doc for obvious reasons. The dude is a walking torture device.

Taking back story into account I'd find the clown pretty damn terrifying, sharing the category with doctor is fitting as I'd find him quite menacing as well.

Legion / Plague
I am gonna go with the Plague.
i think she has a pretty cool design and animations. Her basic weapon is very original as well.
and she has kind of a unique and tragic backstory, which doesn’t make her necessarily more scary/terrifying but I like it.

Forgot to give my opinion when making the poll, lol. For me it's Plague, for various reasons, but the main ones are her attire, which looks on point for her backstory, and also those chantings she makes in the lobby + in her mori animation. There's also how she seems to be rotting from the disease, and the incense she carries around, which is accurate and very unique. She's just peak design imo.
Spirit and Doctor come next. Spirit depicts what she went through amazingly imo, the fact that her limbs are completely separated from the rest of her body is extremely on point, and the designers managed to mix that with the usual Japanese theme of the lady with long, black hair that we usually see in Japanese horror movies. Doctor, on the other hand, is absolutely grotesque, specially once you learn his lore. He has one of the most disturbing and scariest designs imo.
Honorable mentions to Oni, who is terrifying and has an extremely unique design, and Huntress, whose lullaby manages to be melancholic and spine chill inducing at the same time.

Doctor is quite suave, at least compared to the other killers. Plus he just sounds like he's having the time of his life, lol.

Legion / Plague
The Legion has such a simple design but is also one of the scarier killers in the game to me. They're not paranormal or cursed or anything otherworldly, they're just a group of teens. Their outfits highlight that too; normal attire for somewhat cold weather along with their handmade masks. Yeah killers like Trapper and Billy are scary, but The Legion has a much more realistic factor to them overall that takes the cake. I'd definitely be scared by a hulking masked man using bear traps to snare people, but someone savagely chasing you down is much more intense. Their ability Feral Frenzy helps show that, they break into a run, knives in the air, vaulting pallets and windows, and inflicting Deep Wounds. It's not the best in-game mechanic, but the reality of getting stabbed so deep you'll bleed out to death if you don't immediately tend to your wounds is stressful. Plus their Mori's, they don't have any special way of killing the survivor like The Plague or The Doctor, nor do they rely on their strength like The Trapper or The Wraith to kill. They way they struggle to stab at the survivor before gutting them shows how determined they are to get the kill, but also shows that they're still just teens.
Also have you ever met teens?? They're scary as hell lmao

Doctor / Clown
Doctor's lore is just disgusting. He's easily the scariest killer in the game to me (presuming I encountered him in real life). Ghostface's lore is also very scary imo. As Senyor_Yiff mentioned, Legion is also very scary because how simple they are. You're far more likely to get shanked by some teens than get hunted down by a big guy with a chainsaw.

Nurse / Huntress
I think Huntress has some of the nicest cosmetics in the game, and they fit her character, and she doesn't look gross (which is a thing I dislike about some of the killers).

Doctor / Clown
Clown for me. Only thing I dislike about his design is that clown doesn't always seem scary especially when survivors inhale the gas. The clown should have a maniac laughter instead of the congested one when they inhale the gas. That would have been so much better.

Oni and spirit are some of the most terrifying looking killers. Very easy choice imo.
