Blood points/ Game reworks

Just an idea that I came up with.

Dead by daylight is asymmetrical game where there are 4 survivor vs 1 Killer. Currently there seems to not be a way on how to determine which won or lost.

I feel as if the stakes in this game needs to be higher. As of now it seems that we just to play because we own it which starts to get boring.

I was thinking of concept where survivor and killers only receive blood points during the following

As a survivor

escaping from the killer successfully after 3sec
generators
totems
opening exit gate
Being around the killer presence with out being seen

As a killer

chasing a survivor
hitting a survivor
hooking survivor
Damaging generators
sacrificing survivor

Now when if either side loses during one of these then the bloodpoints they may have earned through out the game so far, they lose some of it. For example if a survivor was to be in a chase then they lose some points but they gain it back when escaping. And the same for the killer.

I believe this concept would help encourage survivor from having a long chase with a killer. It would also add pressure to both sides. Since everyone wants to have blood points and pip.

I know there are survivors who like being in chases with killer but this concept will determine how good you are in a chase and escaping from the killer. And as of now when playing survivor you are not rewarded as much when hiding from the killer. You have to be in chase in order to play. The most intense moment for me is when I am in the killer presence and I have not been spotted.

once again just a thought. And obviously there could be more ways for both sides to earn bloodpoints

survivors shouldnt pip if they die. that should be a clear loss for survivors and the killer can just say if they pipped or not because "a pip is a win"

At that point killers shouldn't pip unless they kill all 4 survivors.

They should pip if they got 2 kills, since the dev consider that to be balanced. And survivors should only pip by escaping.

This seems entirely reasonable, except when matching against SWF groups. I personally don't think you should get BP or pips with a 3-4 person SWF at all.

I would agree on the Piping only when you survive if you take away the Boldness and Altruism requirements too. I would be more than happy to try and not have to be in a chase or have to unhook/heal someone if that guaranteed me a pip. It's a huge pain when you have your entire team hook hungry and do gens while they run around like idiots only to find out you didn't do enough to pip.

Yeah but I think the unhook/heal would need to stay or other wise there would barely be any team work for solo players.
