How could MMR be possible?

I really dont think there is a way...

Example:

Overwatch:

You play 10 games and it tracks some stats to give you a rating, from there its just win/lose to get a better Rank.

BUT:

Overwatch has only heroes, nothing like perks/items/add ons.

You cant just exuip Tracer with a key to make an enemy Tank insta die.

The only problem in Overwatch would be that some heroes are maybe stronger then others.

So lets try this system on DBD:

You play 10 games and now youre placed somewhere.

Now you gain Rank for wins?

You would only see Keys and ultra rare items. Mostly Meta perks.

So it would bind your skill rating to your builds and items you bring with.

It is untrackable imo.

The only way would be to force people on teachable perks for each survivor/killer without the abillity to bring items. This would be somewhat trackable.

But now its also letting mates die and hide and get hatch vs loop a killer for 5 gens and then get left by teammates to die on 1st hook.

Do you think a system is possible?
