Unnerving Presence

Do you run it? Do you like it?

I run it with some regularity on several killers and find it to be really good. I've seen the "who's missing skill checks these days" or "trash ass killer crutch perk" or "gg I guess, hate UP" comments in post game chat. Maybe there's one guy on the team that's nailing those skill checks 90% of the time, but his 3 teammates are missing them just as often (perk of matchmaker being a mess?). As survivor with about 70-90 games played I've never faced it. Do other killers run it on anyone except Doctor (which I rarely see)?

Unnerving presence isn't that much of a problem for me, even if its a doctor, sure its annoying, but it doesn't make me mad enough to go full ape mode and start trash talking the killer. UP is just kinda.. there, y'know?

Why would anyone use a perk that straight up helps survivors complete objectives faster? Yea unnerving presence out of terror radius doc builds is total garbage and might just do more bad than good for you

I run on specific builds and I like it on them, but not using out of it.

There's way better perks to be used in that perk slot. It's like one of those perks who new KIllers can try to use to get value from it, but it's useless in the higher ranks (at least againt decent survivor, since higher ranks is full of potatos).

It's a cool perk but unfortunately it's a very weak one imo. It relies on survivors being bad and not being able to hit skill checks. Considering how many use DS and hit that skill check all the time then it kinda becomes at best a do nothing perk and at worst a perk that helps survivors do gens faster.

Thats kinda my point. I see a lot of teams where 1 or 2 might be good and the others are blowing up gens everywhere. Frequently see back to back fails on the same gen. I feel like a lot of survivors are overstating their skill at hitting those checks.

Now if they can hit them, I understand that it is advantageous to them.

It's weak indeed. I used to run it on doctor until I went up against it as survivor. I was shocked by how unproblematic it was. Like you'd seriously have to be hammered for this perk to give you problems.

Idk seems to help hit greats imo as survivor so I don't run it as killer. Have been using Lullaby tho and been seeing explosions everywhere at red ranks.

Honestly i loved when it used to be a sudo ds counter making ds harder to hit but not almost completly nullified like old enduring. And unnerving was just as rarely used back then even with it countering ds alittle. DS Is the only skillcheck in the game immune to unnerving. What was consistency again? Lol

I used it to run it on Doctor until I came to my senses and realized how bad it actually is. Unnerving does nothing to Survivors that are good at skillchecks. I switched out Unnerving and Overcharge for Pop and Surveillance and it's been great. I like having four perks that are always doing something throughout the game.
