Passive Abilities For Killers?

In the Game the Spirit,Freddy,Doctor, & Oni is the Only killer with a Passive,& some killers could really use a passive.

Ghostface:While in Night Shroud survivors who look at you gain the hindered status effect for as long as they look at you

Pig:Survivors without a Reverse BearTrap who get near(24 Meters) the Boxes will give you a Loud Noise notification

Trapper:For every unarmed Trap on the Map all gens speed gain are decreased by 3%

Wraith:Wraith permanently Loses his Red Stain

Myers:He passively fills up his meter(it does not tier you up)

Legion:Gains the ability to Vault Pallets & you can you Can Vault quicker when in Bloodlust,& gains Bloodlust Quicker(-5 Seconds)

Demogorgon:When the Demogorgon does a Successful Basic Attack or Shred a difficult skill checks with no notification,will appear on survivors who are not doing anything,if they fail the survivor will Scream

Clown:Survivors hit while Intoxicated will gain the Deep Wound

Deathslinger:When a survivor works on a Gen that is at 0-15% gain a Loud Noise Notification

Plauge:Plauge passively can Unlock Corrupt Purge,its faster for every person Infected.

    Ooof, no red stain on Wraith would be pretty nasty.

    I gotta say, giving Demo, who gives global audio cues, the ability to force skill checks would actually be an interesting mechanic, albeit a slightly busted one on both ends of the situation.

    Good Survivors will have no problem when they hear the shriek go off, and noobs will get utterly stomped by it.

    What are the passives of Oni and Doctor? (Doctor probably the hallucinations and Oni filling his meter when hitting?)

    Killers' powers that not using tools need "passive power". (Fred, Doc, Spirit already have it, Nurse basekit is strong enough)

    Killer's' power that using tools like Trapper, Huntress, Clown, Pig need "2nd ability", I mean give them another tools. Pig already have ambush though, and Clown got rework.

    Or it could just be extra or secondary abilities here are some examples

    Wraith Slow walk, holding secondary ability starts slow walk Decreases movement speed by 10% but doesn't shimmer until within 16 meters of a survivor

    Trapper Trap reset, opens all traps on the map after a 2 second charge up and 2 second animation has a 90 second cooldown

    Executioner: While not in a case, activating/using his Torment Trails do not slow his movement and do not give an auditory cue

    Myers does not make sense, its not hard to stalk up and it would be op if myers would be running tombstone since it takes a lot of stalking to level up to T3

    About the Tombstone,they could just change it,so that you dont passively fill up while running it

    The problem with passive abilities is that they require absolutely zero effort, and that's not so good for DbD. Why do you think Freddy is so despised? It's not because he's the strongest, it's because he gets a bunch of passive abilities.

    true, but considering that T3 myers can change the whole game feels op to me

    Yes. Doctor and Spirit are also both hated Killers. So i dont think giving all Killers Pasiv abilitys is a good idea. Also there is Perks wich give you extra Abilitys already.

    Can't say I'm a fan of passives. I'm more for updating powers to be more complex and interesting, since creative use and mastery of powers is one of the little joys of Killer. Adding passive power to their kit would just be counterintuitive for that purpose, and be generally uninteresting (One of the reasons I'm for reworking Freddy's addons - the passive ones just feel dull).

    I just want a werewolf that can howl to apply the terror radius map wide for xx seconds and the ability to run on all 4s. But some passive would be cool, providing they're balanced, the looking at gf would bug me because I can't reveal that mf when its crossplay lol

    Ever since the doctor they have been making changes that reduce the passive nature of powers and perks. Ruin change made it less of a passive benefit but something that would reward you based on you actively doing something. Doctor’s static field got changed to be activated through static blast. This used to be a genuine passive where you didn’t have to do anything but walk and survivors would gain madness.

    Perhaps they will revisit this when taking a pass at Freddy (passively falling asleep) among others. Make it more of the killer actively doing something to have a benefit.


    Also doctor doesn’t have a passive since those silhouettes are a direct result of him blasting survivors into madness.
