I think both Blight and Twins require much skill and a different playstyle compared to others. Usually when I see one of them they either don’t know what to do with their power or they wreck the survs.

So like Nurse people don’t have the patience to get good with them and rather use their mains. Maybe Killer specific MMR will let people try out other killers they are not as comfortable with from the start.

Completely agree. Not asthetically pleasing at all for me. Loved Oni and spirit. Hoping something intimidating comes next :)

I didn't play the Twins when they came out, but from what I have read about them any excitement people had for them that bought the DLC at full price were hugely let down by game-breaking bugs that made them unplayable when they came up.

I'm actually fine with the play style as and against. Their issue to me mostly just the fact that they suck. One of the weakest killers they've released in an extremely long time. They make Legion look strong and that's pretty sad.

They feel like they were designed around the survivor experience and no thought was put into how strong or viable it actually was.

If they were some minor tweaks away from being solid I might have some confidence in their next pass by fixing them, however the level of improvements they need is so large I just cannot see that happening.

Oh and I almost forgot the fact that they have tons of negative synergy with most the meta perks that just don't function with them since you're downing with Victor mostly.

Yeah I call her "not so scary mary" Blight is just a hobbling disfigured tramp in my eyes.

Aesthetically, I don't like them. They're visually unappealing.

They have possibilities, but the execution is poor. Victor is the killer's power, and... I dunno, a little gremlin running around jumping on people, it's kinda funny but as the killer's power it can feel pretty weak. The best way to use it is to slug, which a lot of players (both killer and survivor) don't find fun. They suck at earning BP. Victor is the power, you use him to chase survivors, but he doesn't get chase points? (Or did they fix that?) BP is an important part of the game, DbD is so godawfully grindy, so a killer that sucks at earning BP is not going to be popular.

When the chapter released, it came with so many bugs that it practically broke the game. "Oh look, Victor is stuck in the ground, I have literally no power while the survivors finish the remaining gens. Awesome." Being able to injure/down survivors in lockers with Victor was great, though, I really enjoyed that.

And I just hate the way DbD writes lore. Sometimes it's the writing, sometimes it's the story itself, but in general it's awful. I don't even read it anymore. That's unfortunate and it does detract from the game.

On release I recall a similar experience on camping twins and even made a thread about the camping and tunnelling potential on the this killer. It felt exactly like that - an oversight. I remember on the PTB watching some streams and you see everyone on the PTB isn't playing like an ######### degenerate. They need to. They managed to tell BHVR about the locker abuse but nobody tested out the camping. They got fully released then the sadistic gremlins started playing them. The rest is history lol

Elodie was the only good that came out of this chapter. I’m surprised the Twins aren’t played more tbh. They’re how every killer plays anyways. Hit, slug, camp, tunnel.

Well in my opinion the twins have a major problem They mean strength comes from how easily they can camp and tunnel that is the most optimal way to play them sadly.

If you don't play them like that they're pretty bad I hesitate in saying weak exactly I say that because you can still get results from them but that has nothing to do with The twins themselves anybody who's good at killer can get results with anybody.

You can actually play them in a very interesting and unique way using them to body block certain areas as they both have collision But even though that way is fun it is far from optimal and you'll most likely just end up losing more often than not.

Lastly The twins kind of came out in a very touchy period.

    1) People were still irritated at the Halloween "event" ( From gameplay To lack of anything to earn and the controversial streamer codes)

Then we had the advent calendar "Event" Which to be honest the Christmas events have never been Much more than just aesthetic but still People were annoyed that they didn't get special items or Christmas themed Environments. ( Once again Streamer codes however it was handled for better this time even though at this stage they should probably just try to get twitch drops enabled as it's less hassle for both streamers and viewers)

    3) The twins chapter was probably one of the most buggiest chapters to be released in a long time.

Twins are not fun due to playstyle, multiple perks either don't or didn't work properly, they made Blight's Soul Chemical addon way worse, and I hate the Autohaven reworks with a passion. I like Elodie and the Ormond rework but otherwise the chapter just made the game worse imo.

I would fix the Twin like this

    While control Charlotte:

    M1 to attack

    M2 to release Victor

M2 again to change control to Victor

Victor (AI) will automatically find & follow the first nearest Survivor, reveal Killer instinct to Charlotte (player)

    While control Victor:

    M1 to pouch

2nd ability to change control to Charlotte

Charlotte (AI) will automatically find & follow, hunt Survivors at half the speed, reveal Killer instinct to Victor (player)

Charlotte (AI) priority injure than down Survivors. If a healthy survivor and an injured one at a similar distance.

Charlotte (player) hit a healthy Survivor while Victor on them will cause injured, Victor drop down and become (AI)

Victor pouch doesnt cause damage, only heavy hindered Survivor. They can kill Victor to get freed

    • Now they're actually "work together" than a "tag team"

I hope people don't forget this chapter was the most bug filled update ever. The twins are pretty weak and for some reason I just don't like their power. They could've done so much with it but instead they just rushed it. Twins perks are pretty bad and coup a very niche perk got nerfed in the live update. Elodies perks were ok I guess not a big fan of her. Her screams makes my ears bleed. And there was no new map just a map visual update which I wouldn't consider new.

Twins don't take skill, after 2nd game I've just been 4king most matches even slot of swfs.

But the victor pounce is bugged af, I actually have a clip of victor jumping on someone fixing a gen, and someone he hit the gen and not the survivor... Which was really dumb cause jumped from the side no way he should have touched the gen.

And ye kinda gotta use it to camp and slug to win I barely slug tho, not my favourite thing, don't have to tunnel though tunneling is always a choice.

But if someone runs into me after being unhooked I'm gonna think they got BT and get em to heal for longer by hitting them... And sometimes they don't just so they can cry tunneling camper in chat and saying they reported me, why else would they run up in my face?

I love the twins visual design and their lore is great but their power was more “we want two killers in one!” Than “ how would two killers in one work”.

Elodie is my favourite survivor since Jane and her lore is great but being forced to run calm spirit on her is annoying

    Perks are okay I guess
