Blood Point Balancing
I love me some math so let us do some together. This may be a bit long so strap in. I wanted to know how many blood points it would take to get every character to p3 level 50 with every single perk. Basically how many points to "complete" the blood web.
Well, each prestige takes roughly 1mil blood points. No math you just have to trust me here since so many levels are screwy and it is mostly based on luck. If you are super efficient and can get each prestige in 1mil blood points that is 3mil to get prestige
Next, we have to get perks on the character. After taking another 1mil to get to level 50 with 50 levels of perks
(bear in mind this is assuming you get a perk every blood web which most of the time you don't)
There are currently 12 killers each with 3 teachable perks with 3 levels each. 36*3=108 total teachable perks and I will just round this out to 150 levels with the regular no teachable ones included.
If you still need 100 more perk levels, from P3 Level 50 each web is about 50k blood points. So 50k points for ever level of a perk 100*50,000= 5,000,000 Blood points plus the additional 4,000,000 for getting prestige and level 50
9,000,000 blood points to max out... 1... killer
9,000,000*12= 108,000,000 Bloodpoints to get every single killer to have every perk in the game at max rank.
I did killer first since each has a unique power so it matters if they are leveled up, The survivors are really more of skin swaps so your only need 1 to be maxed out.
However, just for the sake of it lets take 108mil and add an additional 9mil since there are 13 survivors and you have a total of
225,000,000 Bloodpoints To max out every single character in DBD
1 last thing I wanted to calculate. How long would this all take
I will give an estimate that each 15min game you play you get 25k blood points. Sometimes you get tunneled or people DC on you when you are the killer and vis versa you could get games with 5BPS with BBQ and get max blood points so 25k seems pretty good to me.
This would take 9000 games to do. Again with each game lasting around 15min again to account for getting wrecked or immersion.
135,000 minutes of playing DBD, not accounting for lobby times and other things.
2250 hours of playing
If I add on about 3 min for queue times considering lobby dodges and other
450 hours spent waiting in lobbies.
This does not account for any Disconnects and hopefully, after reading this, people will stop disconnecting.
I also have not included any dailies or turning in shards for blood points which could lower the time.
However, lets put this into comparison since right now these are probably just numbers with no meaning
I will use marth88 as an example of just sheer time played. On his account, he has played 3600+ and has only almost maxed out the killers side and he has been going since the game launched.
Overall, the main point of this post and why it is under the section "Balance" is because blood points are gained too slow for the games current economy. Also, survivors get hardly any blood points and that needs to be addressed majorly. I play killer mostly since they get so many blood points and I can use them on upgrading, why would I play something that makes me progress slower?
I would love to see any response and your thoughts on all of this. Killers and survivors may be as polarly against each other as possible, but one thing we all can agree on is we need more blood points.

Wow. That’s quite a bit of time investments and bloodpoints. I only wanted to say that 1million BP gets between 45 and 46 levels and not the whole 50, which makes the grind that much worse.
To change this, I would like to see bloodwebs be the way to unlock the first tier of every perk, but require a separate upgrade system for the tiers of perks. This would also allow for Ultra-Rare and Common rarities for perks to return for the people who want them.
I dislike how teachables work right now, and I would rather teachables have another criteria that must be fulfilled before appearing on the web. Good criteria would include using the perk at least 4 times in a build on the character it is being taught from before it can appear, or require the adept achievement to be met before the perks are made available.0 -
! mil doesn't always get to that high depending on Blood web rng sometimes i'm lucky to get into the 30's.

With the ever increasing roster of killers/killer perks and survivor perks (in the case of survivors unless you change your main, you only need to get the new survivor to 40) the bloodpoint economy needs to improve. I mean, there's a damn reason we love a bloodhunt event. And even after we get all the perks on killers, we need to continue to pump bp into killers so we always have add-ons. We don't really need to keep putting bp into survivors as items and addons aren't really as needed unlike killers, who more or less are reliant on them and although you don't necessarily need them, or even perks, they are a big help.
Either, lowering the cost in the blood web a bit or increasing the gain in game. Leaving it, the way it is, only makes it so much harder for new folks to get into the game, as it's currently immensely overwhelming to get all the perks you want. And that's just assuming you play one side, playing both sides is an insane time investment, and while I'm usually fine with a grind, there's a point where it just becomes ridiculous.

If I add roughly 2mil to teach person since getting pretisge seems harder then final total would be 275,000,000 point. Plz devs I need more bloodpoints ;n;0
