What game prior to Dead By Daylight took up most of your gaming time?
For me it was always Counter Strike / CS:GO.
Currently it is DBD.
Not sure what it will be in the future.

I had been playing Battlefront II (Extraction mode, to be specific), but DICE didn't want to support that mode, never made any new maps, and even though it was hella fun, it just... it can't last forever on two maps. Now, the mode doesn't even exist, anymore. ๐ข

The Binding of Isaac, I love that game and can't wait for the upcoming DLC.

Friday the 13th, played it constantly when it came out.

FFXIV is still my main game. DBD only occupies me two hours a week.

I think mine was Warframe. It's one of the best games I've ever played if you can get over the massive amount of information you have to teach yourself to play it.

Black Ops 3 zombies was a blast. Every map was pretty great and then DLC5 came in with 8 remastered maps so it kept me entertained for a while.

I'd say Monster Hunter, but that one's ongoing.
My extensive time with Payday 2 was very much prior to DbD, though, and their collaboration is when I realized Behaviour were behind DbD (was interested in them from Naughty Bear 1/2. they certainly weren't blockbuster games but the bizarre Manhunt/Hitman hybrid of gameplay got me interested, and studios willing to try that kind of weird stuff with AA projects are often worth following), which was my catalyst to trying the game out during its promotional Free Weekends.
That, and nobody's going to believe me on this, (and, to be fair, this was a long time ago. I picked up a LOT of digital codes through PD2 community giveaways) but I also had the obscenely good fortune of getting a PAX Chuckles mask code among them, so that dopamine hit is probably what encouraged me to keep playing some more.

Friday the 13th, used to play it nonstop.

Overwatch. Whenever I get fed up of DbD, my friends and I will switch over and play Overwatch for a few days until we get tilted and then go back to DbD lol! The never ending cycle ๐

World of Warcraft Classic. Still play it a lot, but its between that and DBD for me.
Some really great games on the horizon though - Dying Light 2, Back 4 Blood, Resident Evil Village, etc.

Loved that game. Wish the sequel would come out:(

Tied between Black Ops 3 and Ark. The problem with Dbd is that none of my friends want to play it. So i do have over 2000 hours in dbd but i think it was never the game i played the most in a year. So while i played dbd i played in the same time other games more. Like Apex Legends or Monster Hunter.

Destiny 2.
Edit. Skyrim and Witcher 3 close behind. Skyrim kept getting error messages and I didn't feel like dealing with it. Witcher 3 I had nothing left to do and was wicked sad it was all done.

On Steam it is Binding of Isaa Rebirth. Other than that, World of Tanks, despite having over 35k Battles, I am still bad at this game, lol.
2 -
Garry's Mod, I racked up over 4300 hours in that game.

Used to be madden non stop in my early 20's. Then I got of the PvP games for a bit and was glued to Fallout and Dead island. Would still drop this game for who knows how long if they they made Dead island 3. But that looks grim so Dbd looks safe for now.

Minecraft. Used to be a really good minecraft pvper from 2011/12 until 2016, then I took a break from videogames to focus on sports for a year and got into DBD in 17 ever since.

League of Legends unfortunately.
1 -
Shockingly enough, the Sims. LOL.
2 -
For a long while, it was a trinity of Monster Hunter, For Honor, and Hunt: Showdown.
Then they released Warmonger.... And suddenly there was a void to be filled!

The Forest was my favorite, still is up there, can't wait for the sequel this year.

Team Fortress 2
potentially Minecraft (dunno tho, as they dont track my hours ingame... luckily)

The Long Dark, awesome survival game. Even older than DBD but I'd say better taken care of.
0 -
League of Legends. At least in DBD everyone has to wait until post-game to flame me in chat instead of during the match lmao.

Digimon world...i like to play ps1 games.

XCOM2: WOTC, FF14, Vermintide 2 and Warhammer 2.

Friday the 13th, Battlefront 2, GTA Online, Red Dead Online and NBA 2K.
For single player I'd say either fallout or Red Dead Redemption 2.

I still haven't seen anyone mention Darkest Dungeon. I have over 1000 hours in that game despite it being single player. I love everything about it and I still play it to this day.

I Couldn't relate more a sentence in my life. this is exactly what I used to do but now I just play dbd.
1 -
Same as you, CS:GO.

Team Fortress 2.
But it still probably takes up a bit more of my time than DBD does to be fair.

Heyyy me too. Hyperion representing!

Street Fighter 5.

apex legends. was addicted to ranking and just being really try hard. this game is so easy to play in comparison I got hooked

Overwatch. Now that I'm on PC, I might pick up Overwatch 2 when it releases.

Skyrim or fallout 4. I swear I spent 90% of my time defending settlements.

PVP was call of duty

Overwatch! I still play it every now and then.

Rainbow six siege

Tf2 and overwatch

This radial quest is a ######### trap. When I played fallout 4 I somehow managed to end conversation with Preston before "Another Settlement Needs Our Help" and then I never talk to him again.

Ark. Had to quit because of the sheer toxicity and bullying. Not that DbD was much better at the time, but at least now it's mellowed out a bit.

Friday the 13th. God i miss that game.

Before DBD i was a L4D and League player. I spent 3000+ hours in l4d versus prior to spending 3000+ in dbd. You can imagine how excited i was when the l4d cross over happened in dbd.
