So, I was mucking around in a KYF (Custom Game) and discovered that although the Phantasm has complete collision - no vaults, pallet drops, moving through it - it is possible to get a flashlight blind directly through a Triggered Traps Phantasm. Is this a bug or is it a mechanic that's been long overlooked and since undiscovered? On the off chance it is a bug, i'll report it in the Bug Report category regardless.
