How about corrupt Intervention for totems
What if there was a perk that blocked totems for say 150 seconds instead of Hex:Undying. Killers don't have to worry about losing their perk after 10 seconds, and ruin would be a little more consistent. Currently you can still lose Ruin and Undying in 1 minutes, which can be frustrating. I have played games were I lose both before and I can even reach survivors. I'm just curious of peoples thoughts on an idea like this.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Maybe it would make thrill of the hunt not garbage

Sounds good. But would be probably nerfed like Undying after a couple of months.

Blocking a Hex will not solve the problem
Since all perks that protect Hex are also Hex. So to keep the trend, I would do it like this.
Hex: Dimmed (sorry not good at naming). All other Hex will not light up until Hex: Dimmed is destroyed.
So survivor can tell there is Ruin, they start to find it, they can walk pass Hex Ruin but all they see is just a dull totem.

I mean sure but i wouldn't run it over undying
a lot of the time survivors just focus on gens, i wouldn't run a perk that protects my totems from being cleansed right away when that only happens in like a 4th of my games assuming im running one hex and with undying that hex will probably last longer anyway.

If the devs wanted totems to last for any reasonable amount of time they wouldn't be nerfing undying.

IMO the undying nerf was a good one however also taking away the aura reading on hexs was overkill, like there is no point to seeing auras around dull totems it's not even good tracking since there is only 3 spots on the map with dull totems as you would be crazy to run this hex alone just for that weak effect.

I will never understand the addiction to hex totems.
Btw, hex totems were designed to be cleansed.
Its gambling, choose it and you choose the risk of loosing a perk, or more.
You are already lucky enough someone at the dev team loves the hex method.
However, there is no way hex totems getting blocked anyhow.
