Deliverance and Second Wind
Do these two perks work together? Could I unhook and heal someone, get hooked, and then pull myself and then get healed to full health? I know that the deliverance broken effect is longer than the Second Wind effect, but I was wondering if the healing still happened after or something.

Second Wind doesn't activate if you're broken and Deliverance causes the broken effect for 60 seconds, so you'd be correct. Second Wind just wouldn't activate and would remain until your second hook and subsequent unhook.
So no, they don't work together.

Iirc, Deliverance trumps Second Wind meaning that Second Wind wastes its effect, although I might be wrong on that.

That is incorrect according to the description. I mean, Second Wind does activate when you heal other Survivors if your are not afflicted by the Broken Status (last line). So when you are hooked, you have Second Wind activated. Now, the description reads: "While Second Wind is activated, the next time you are unhooked or unhook yourself, you are affected by the Broken Status, and after a total duration of 30 seconds, Second Wind automatically heals you from Injured to Healthy. You will lose the Broken Status once Second Wind deactivates".
So this should be the sequence:
- You heal other Survivors to activate Second Wind.
- You unhook yourself.
- Deliverance timer triggers (60s). Second Wind timer triggers (it is already activated) (30s).
- After 30s you should lose the Broken Status since Second Wind deactivates, being healed from injured to healthy.
What is happening here? Second Wind does not heal you because the Broken Status from deliverance is still going on, which it is a erratic behaviour, because the Second Wind itself is actually healing you even with the Broken Status.
We have to difference between activation and triggering. You activate Deliverance by unhooking someone, as well as you activate Inner Strength by cleaning a totem, Second Wind is activated by healing someone if you are not broken. Once activated, it can trigger when you unhook yourself.

Hey bestie do me a favour and read the final snippet thanks
Deliverance will activate before Second Wind, as Deliverance activates on the unhook attempt, Second Wind activates upon being unhooked. Second Wind doesn't activate if you're already broken which, thanks to Deliverance, you are.
So no, nothing erratic is going on here. It functions exactly as intended.

Well, do me a favour too and read my complete message before posting, since I already comment that line. Second Wind can be already activated before you suffer from the Broken Status effect. Now, as I said, of course If you heal someone with Broken Status, it does not activate, as that line reads. I don't care about the no activation due to the Broken Status if the perk is already activated by healing someone. I don't know if you are getting my point.
I am not questioning it is working as intended. I am questioning that Second Wind should trigger because you have it activated beforehand once you unhook yourself.

You have the perk active, you do not have the trigger for the main effect of the perk. It's like with Mettle of Man if you're healthy and the killer insta-downs you- the perk is active, you just do not get the main effect of the perk.
It shouldn't trigger.

You are not gonna get the Mettle of Man effect because you need to be Injured to trigger it as its description reads. It isn't the same example.
Here you have everything you need: the perk activated (by healing someone), and the trigger (by unhooking yourself). It should definitely trigger and take effect by the description.

Here is how this combo would work, at least from what I understand. You unhook and heal someone to full health, causing both Deliverance and Second Wind to activate. Then you get hooked, and unhooked with Deliverance, causing both Second Wind and Deliverance to give you the Broken status effect. Second Wind's 30s status effect would end and then try and heal you, but since Deliverance's 60s Broken effect is not over, Second Wind does nothing.

There is only (or should be) one instance of the "Broken Status", as well as Hope and Adrenaline 'share' the same "Haste" effect.
