Help! I suck at Nurse!

So I want to be a generally well balanced killer so I can pass whatever daily I have with flying colors and a truckload of blood points. I'm best with the hag and pretty good with Leatherface, Wraith, Doctor, Clown, and Huntress. The others my success is off and on, but every time i play nurse I can barely even hurt ONE survivor. The add on that lets me see where I'm blinking really helps and I can at least down two people, but I never end up landing a kill unless i camp (Which i hate doing but its the only way ill get even a low amount of blood-points with her). Survivors almost always escape chases cause I overshoot or undershoot my blinks. It's depressing cause when I play as anyone else I'm pretty skillful and experienced but when I play her its like I've never touched the game before. Any master Nurse mains help me out! I don't wanna be a nurse expert but i want to at least rake in some blood-points and get a few non-boring/camping kills. Any tips would be appreciative!

Okay, first off you're gonna want Barbeque & Chili ASAP. The Nurse's blinks help her make great use of this perk. The next perks you'll want is probably Nurse's Calling and Monitor & Abuse. Monitor and Abuse will boost your FOV helping you spot survivors while also shrinking your TR which will, in turn, give you better use out of Nurse's Calling. As for the final perk, I would recommend Hex: Ruin or Sloppy Butcher.

Now onto blink techniques. The default Nurse has only 2 blinks. When searching for survivors in the trial feel free to use both blinks. Once you spot someone though, use the first blink to get in close. Then use the second blink for the kill. When you decide to try using three blinks only use two for travel. Save the third blink for survivor hunting.

Now there are certain strategies survivors will use to evade you here are the counters I know of.

Stealth: The Nurse's Greatest weakness is stealth. If you use Monitor and Abuse like I advised you'll be able to get closer to the generators before they know to hide. Exploit their lack of preparation time and find them using your extra FOV size.

The Charge: Blinks cannot technically be canceled. This is why once you raise your hand some survivors will run towards you so you blink through them. To counter this, look straight down. The Nurse cannot blink through the ground (excluding when you're above the Basement or on the second level of the Game). So next time someone charges you just look down and then lunge out.

Unfortunately, that's all I've got. Hopefully, others will lend you a hand though!

STOP PLAYING DBD and start to playing nurse. Its a complete diferent game. In my case i got rank 1 with a nurse...but when i try a diferent killer (any) cant pass the rank 8.

No offense man but if this is true, you should really start playing bad killers like Freddy, LF or Pig because it sounds like you are using Nurse as a crutch. Using the weaker killers will improve your playstyle big time. Getting below rank 8 is not hard at all. I find it almost impossible to depip on killer. Once you are more experienced with normal killer mechanics, your overall gaming experience and knowledge of looping/mind games will significantly improve and you'd probably be a God-tier Nurse.

My biggest tip for you, the nurse has an Entire second to either lungh or make a correction blink, I can't stress this enough, WAIT! even I forget this and I get punished for it. If you wait for you to get a clear shot on a survivor, you will do way better with her. If there out of lungh range, make a correction, if you don't have a blink, just accept fatigue, lunghing causes and extra second of fatigue, and you really don't want to miss.

The nurse is the most complicated, hard-to-play killer, but is the best. C2S has a console Nurse guide that is detailed and extensive on YT, and I highly recommend you check it out, as it can help PC nurses as well. Hope that this helps you.

I relate to you. I’ve been playing Nurse for the adept trophy and it’s been SO hard. It really doesn’t help I somehow always manage to roll pro bloody survivors while whenever I’m a survivor, my brethren all get downed at gen number 4.

    Nurse guide

There are some things outdated like the auto-lock-on and the immunity to pallets after a pallet doesn't exist anymore but I think this is the best guide on youtube.
Don't get frustrated as it can take a 100+ games to master her.

Thanks to everyone for the tips. I've been trying them all out and while I still suck I'm managing to actually HIT people more often. At this point I just have to practice a bit more. Wish me luck that I get my first four kill match soon! (Or at least two kill XD)
