Blood Pact
Hey guys. I have a question about the perk Blood Pact. This is the current description:
" When you or the Obsession are injured, you both see each other's Auras. After healing the Obsession or being healed by the Obsession, you both gain the Haste Status Effect, moving at an increased speed of 5/6/7 % until you are no longer within 16 metres of each other. Reduces the odds of being the Obsession. If you are the Obsession, Blood Pact deactivates. The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time. "
So my question is: Does this perk force a survivor to become the obsession even if nobody in the match is running any obsession perks? Like does Blood Pact create an obsession itself so the perk works?

No, I'm not sure why it doesn't say it but Blood Pact does cause an obsession to occur. You would have decreased odds of becoming the obsession from Blood Pact so that the perk can work. If Blood Pact makes you the obsession then Blood Pact doesn't work.

An obsession can only be triggered if there's an obsession perk in play. Blood Pact works like For The People in the sense that you have decreased odds of being the obsession, but is still an obsession perk.

So if I use Blood Pact and nobody in the match has any perks that would trigger someone as the obsession, Blood Pact doesn't do anything? 🤡

Just because it doesn't make you the Obsession doesn't mean Blood Pact isn't an Obsession perk.
