New HUD Mockup

I did a quick hud mock up based on NickChinchill's suggestion in this post, because I thought the idea was really good! I put it together really quickly so please don't be mean!

I really dislike the new hud, I think it cheapens the look of the game, and makes it look like a mobile game in a way. There's too many places to look for information, and it took me a while to even find some info that I was looking for (gen's to be done). I also didn't understand at first that the big scratches over the survivor portraits meant that they were injured. The designs aren't clear and it's difficult to understand.

What I liked about Nick's idea was the fact that the adept survivor portraits still fit the style of the game, while still giving us the information on what character the players are playing. The current portraits feel really out of place, are brightly colored and harsh against the background of the dimly lit game. As well as being moved to a new location after almost 5 years of being in the bottom left, the new portraits are incredibly jarring.

Something else I don't see anyone talking about is the change of the exhaustion and speed boost timer's going from grey to red and yellow. I think this is not only unnecessary, but also makes the game inaccessible in yet another way for people with color blindness. I know they're working on color blind modes but this game has almost zero accessibility options and this change is another step in the wrong direction.
