New HUD - "We DONT listen to player feedback"
So lets be honest.. Am I the only one that believes BHVR had ZERO intention on reverting this HUD update and that they used "Console Players" as a scape goat to justify them forcing it on us?
Everyone had weeks to view play the PTB, view screenshots, watch content regarding the HUD update and create a valid opinion on it. Console players DO NOT need to play with the new HUD to tell them it's terrible.

I don't see why they needed to wait until we played it ourselves. We can watch content creators play it and see the problems through them, I feel like it was just a middle finger to all the steam players who took time out of their day to play the PTB and give feedback on it just to be ignored and have these come into the game anyway

No you read it wrong, we got the new hud because of console players.
That is what the devs said since console players never tried the hud like pc players.
So no going back, we are keeping this ######### hud.

What was the problem with the old HUD? I highly doubt any console players had a problem with it. More frankly this HUD is causing more problems for console players than the Twins did

During the Q&A they said:
"I want to talk about the new UI, we've received a lot of negative feedback after PTB or during PTB if you wish. So the plan here is basically not much has changed for the release and we're going to go into why. We're going to look at focused feedback specifically for UI for a few weeks after the release after everyone. Not just only steam players on the PTB have their hands for a little while on the UI."

It's funny that console players most times are ignored or forgotten but now that the UI is so hated it's "oh, we gotta wait and hear what console says." Us consoles are only an excuse for devs to push out bad changes, not like we needed pc players to have even more complaints about console.

Literally none of us console players had an issue with it, if anything the new hud made things worse, I literally can’t see the progression bar on teammates struggling on the hook, this is a big red flag.

Officially, they only pushed it to live to hear console feedback.
Except they actually already had no intention to revert it:

It feels like the real reason for console not having ptb is so they can push out releases like this and use console as scapegoat.

They basically blamed console players for not participate in the PTB so they didn't changed the hud because they wanted console players to try it.

I'm not sure why a HUD even needs a trial run. You can literally just look at it and you can know if its good, its not something you need to feel, like a new killer power or movement mechanics or whatever. What confuses me even more is that they committed to it, like maybe you could have shown the same thing to us as a mockup first instead? So weird...

I genuinely don't understand why they bother having a PTB anymore if feedback isn't used to apply changes - if it's got to go to consoles before they'll listen to any feedback, skip the PTB and just throw it on live...not like we ever get bug-free releases anyway...

This is literally just another instance of the devs having their heads too far up their own asses to listen to 90% of the community.
We had a month of people showing their distaste for these changes just for them to put the ######### movement and HUD on live build anyways, (with next to NO changes) and now forums/twitter are a dumpster fire while the devs are completely silent.

Neither can I, and I play on a huge tv. That’s the number one thing (other than the standing still animation) that’s really making me dislike the game right now. Can’t even play the game anymore because my focus is everywhere else except what’s happening in game (HUD is too distracting).

the worse part is that console players didnt like either so, what is gonna be their next argument now? they did it because they wanted to (even if no one asked , they just did it because they can and dont care about their players) that is hard man, when the company doesnt listen to their customers that is hard man. i hope the game doesnt hit A WALL any time soon because i like the game but they really dont listen.

Console player here, followed the content before release because I couldn't do ptb. Have to agree that the hud was not a good change, primarily cause everything is so spread out it makes info a diversion instead of a quick glance.

They can revert the placement of the UI but due to the new coding with the UI it won't be exactly the same? At least that's how I understand it. They could replicate the old UI with the new widget system, which I hope they do. The new UI is horrible, migraine inducing madness.

Such bs. BHVR makes changes to something NOBODY WANTED...but every other issue that needs addressed isn't touched.
Not sure who in the bloody hell they are listening to when it comes to these decisions...but that person is an absolute moron and if they work for bhvr, should be fired. The game is freaking awful after the update. Worst update ever in my 5000 hours in this game.
Bhvr should be incredibly embarrassed by this release. This is absolutely the drizzling shits.

Does she think we are brain dead? You can't change a overlay that consists of like 12 images and displays raw information that you can easily reformat to whatever you'd like?
Please don't insult the intelligence of your playerbase lol, just make it a toggle for the old UI and add the 15mb of extra space for holding the old images to the update it's not that serious.
