How were the new animations ever allowed to make it onto Live?

I know there's already been a bunch of posts like this but it seems like we really need to get the message across to the devs, and this is coming fom someone who usually defends the devs decisions btw.

The new animations are actually disgusting. It feels like the biggest downgrade in animations i've seen in a long time. The suvivors literally feel and look like stick figures, the movement is horrible and clucky making it almost impossible to spin and much harder to dodge projectiles. So many people have spent time learning the movement on survivors only for a change like this to be made completely denying the time they spent learning the movement. I've already seen and heard from a bunch of ppl who wont be playing survivor anymore because it just feels that gross and I'm sitting here wondering how this was ever allowed to make it out of PTB after the enourmous backlash it recieved.

The new UI is not as bad but i still think its just a downgrade from what we had. Like why were these changes nescasery? No-one thought they were bad quality or anything. Sure some of the change implemented with the UI do seem good like the hook counter but a full rework which just clogs up more of ur screen was not nescasery for this. The UI sliders also need to be fixed because for some reason you can't adjust one thing on ur screen without making everything else bigger/smaller.

So once again i'll ask for at least changes to the running/walking animations to be reverted or reworked because they feel absolutely awful. I understand that the devs put enourmous amount of work into these changes, but when the community doesn't like it, you can't disregard their opinions. Especially when they're the reason the game thrives.
