Tired of It All
Just wondering story-wise if eventually the survivors and some of the killers just give up playing the Entity’s game. Like death isn’t an escape so the survivors know it’s pointless. As for the Killer’s I can’t imagine killing the same group of people over and over again is thrilling for them. Be like eating pizza every day for the rest of your life. Maybe eventually they will defy the entity? Team up to escape? Just a fun thought. I suppose if I was in the survivor’s shoes I would just make efforts to secretly try to team up and find a way out with the killer. Cause realistically the killers are prisoners as well.
What I’m saying sounds like bad fanfiction I suppose. Just would love to see books or outside source material for the game expanding on it.

Yeah, I would think getting impaled on meat hooks and getting slashed by a variety of weapons constantly would be enough for the survivors to want to escape.

lore wise that is why the entity is always looking for new killers and survivors. Feeding on their hope until there is none left. The souls of those chosen are determined or fixated, meant to be hard to break. With every match the entity feeds on their hope, so selecting survs who can't afford to stop is their goal. The killers get tortured horribly when they fail so it makes a bit of sense. You could also argue that the option for survs is horrible pain, or try to escape. If you physically can't die, you are still going to try to escape to avoid horrible pain

True. I would figure though there is a way to counter the entity and not have to constantly play his game.

I think lore-wise, the characters slowly become husks from being killed too often and losing all hope, finally being completely devoured by the Entity and becoming lost. I think that the idea of the survivors 'breaking free' approaches a sort of conclusion; if they escape then that breaks the premise of the game and ends the story. If death is not an escape, but then an escape is found elsewhere, why die?
That said, we've been getting more Survivors tied to the Entity directly in some way - Elodie and Felix's backstories mention a group of people seeking to stop the Entity somehow. It might be that there's going to be some kind of event or lore drop that ties up the story and releases the survivors from the game loop.

That would be pretty sweet.

What happens to the killers? Do they eventually get used up and die too?

The Entity is always watching so they can't do anything in secret plus if they give up they'll just end up in the void and if they team up both sides will be punished

Don’t their memories get wiped after every trial?

Off topic but I think I played in a match with you yesterday. Were you playing Jane facing a Ghostface on Shelter Woods? If so I was the Dwight on your team.

was I wearing the sweater with pink hair? I might’ve been wearing something else but that’s what I normally wear. I think your right

Yes I believe you were. He hooked you near an exit gate after we finished all the gens. I opened the gate, got you off the hook, and myself and the Claudette body blocked for you out the exit gate.
He was your typical Ghostface player. Stealth camping near the hook waiting to mark who ever came in for the save throughout the entire match. He did it to you when you came to rescue me.

Ah yes I remember god they need to remove that map honestly

I agree I hate that map. Well gg's to you. Its nice to have competent team mates in solo queue.

I know there’re a commodity

When a surv loses all their hope and the killer gets tired of playing the sick game of hunter, the entity just send them to the void, where all the thing that are not useful for her are

So along with this thread I ask why...why does the entity herself take part in these trials is it to sabotage the survivors every move or to punish a killer for breaking her rules hmmmm now that is a mystery 🤔🤔🤔
