Focus (HUD)
No one really has much of an issue as to what they ADDED into the UI. Majority of the complaints are about PLACEMENT.
I guess the best way to explain the main issue with the new UI is to compare it to driving a car. It's always "eyes on the road" and take quick glances to see information (Speedometer, fuel, engine temp, etc). All of these are conveniently in one place. Now imagine this...
You wanna see how fast you are going? The speed is on the top left of the windshield.
You wanna see how much gas you have? You gotta look at the top right of the windshield.
You wanna see if your engine temp is ok? you can find that on the top middle of the windshield.
There is a warning? Gotta figure out where the indicator for that is. Oh, it's over there at the bottom right of the windshield.
Not sure if your high beams are on? You probably didn't notice the indicator for it on the bottom left.
You are basically losing valuable time trying to search for the information that you need. I don't need to play to know that the new UI is so counterintuitive. It's a mess. It was changed JUST FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE without thinking about how this would affect gameplay.
I get it, BHVR would not revert this because "they worked hard on it and would be a waste to just scrap it." People in the community came up with BETTER iterations of the new UI but we already know, BHVR never wants to admit being wrong.
Sadly, we all know how this goes. COMMUNITY DOESNT MATTER TO THEM.
They can and will do whatever they want with the thinking of "if you don't like it, don't play."
