#DONTREVERTDBDMOVEMENT
The animations could use a few adjustments but there’s no need to revert them back to those 2-3 year old outdated animations. Everyone is overreacting to these changes, like come on...are you seriously spamming BHVR’s twitter page about this crap? And then giving the game bad reviews on steam because of it? This community is starting to become sad and pathetic at this point.....

I personally just want hitboxes and the UI adjusted, everything else is fine by me

Just like I said, after 4 years they're trying something new. The UI is a buff to solos, I doubt they'll revert it. An option to change it back to normal would be good I guess.

Starting to?
I kid, I kid!!!!...(kind of)
Everything has always been the worst thing that has ever happened and everyone is quitting the game in protest every week. The DBD Forum in a nutshell (hell, I've been guilty myself of an angry post or 10 about wanting to quit forever after a bunch of awful games).
The bugs are super annoying and I do think BHVR needs to get on top of those or eventually, the "quitting forever" threats might actually happen. Right now survivors could sit in the bus and there's nothing a killer could do about it because their path literally broke them for killers...

I'm fine with having new animations, but the devs need to improve the way some of them look.

Yes because like you said, it's a CRAP.

Those “2-3 year old outdated animations” were a big part of this game’s soul. DbD never has been a game about graphics or newer animations and such, it has always been about gameplay. Movement is 99% of a survivors gameplay and they reworked it, making it actually an entirely different game.
No one is overreacting, they changed the bones of a game we loved for the past 4-5 years.
I don’t see how anyone with more than 100 hours in the game could disagree with me, but I’ll respect every opinion. Most importantly I don’t understand how anyone could not see that the new animations are simply BAD, they look like much older than the old ones.

I don't want all of the new stuff in the UI reverted, I want the old layout with a small hook counter added. Replace the generic stylized dude/dudette with the adept portraits. Voila! Amazing refreshed UI that makes everyone happy.
Additionally, the running while injured animation needs a polish, it looks like someone ate a bad burrito and is running to the restroom. It does not look like some sustained a mortal injury and is running for their life.

I don't want the ui reverted I merely want it all located across the bottom of the screen. If I want info on what's happening across the map injured state hook states it needs to be located in one area of screen as opposed to being scattershot across the screen.

So you want the outdated animations forever because it's the "game's soul" haha this game would never get better that way and would die out because it looks so outdated.

No successful game in our times has made an update this big and with such a bad impact and reaction, and survived. The games that won’t die are the ones who keep their core.

Well I've recommended this game to a few people before and they said it looked clunky. I can't blame them because the old movement does, and spinning around in a circle on the ground is hardly a good look whether it's the game's soul or not it looks cheap. So if they're trying to improve it I'm all for it.

I'm fine with the new animations although injured moving and maybe standing could use some work. The UI I have an issue with apart from being able to see hook states as survivor, which is nice.

I think a lot of people agree with this sentiment it's more they moved everything around not actually the additions to the hud. Hook counts, and for some character portraits were all welcomed additions.

Kurwa patch incoming.

The new UI may have intended to be a buff to solo but they failed with it. The health bar for when a survivor is on a hook is barely visible. Knowing when a survivor is getting close to 2nd stage is damn near impossible now. Same goes for when a survivor has a mending action. It's bs.

I find the new animations clunky, but I'm fine with them UNLESS they are the cause of the movement speed issues I'm seeing. If they are? Then they need to make fixing them a priority, and if it's not something that can be fixed within the next couple of weeks? They should revert to the previous animations until the issues with the new ones are resolved.
