Conflict in Statements?
I’ve heard the devs have stated they ‘cannot revert it’ but I’ve heard they pushed it through to ‘get console opinion’. So something is up right there with those two statements. Anyone else see it?
At this point, it’s moved beyond the UI to the fact it feels as though they have outright lied to their paying customers. Some people won’t care that it feels as though they’ve lied and some people will. Does anyone else see the conflict in these statements? Am I losing my senses? I know I’m older

You might want to actually find these statements yourself before you complain that they’re conflicting

No, i don't see it.
Getting an opinion doesn't mean that, if console wants it reverted, they will revert it.
Perhaps i'm the one missing something here, but no: I don't see it.

I don't think it's a conflct.
It's more like we can't revert it. Period. But let's hope console players like it so that we don't have to admit that this HUD update is ######### and will have to change it.

I was pointing out the fact that they have apparently stated they they cannot revert their UI but if that is true, it is something they would have known about but they have apparently stated that they pushed it through because they wanted everyone’s opinion on it and not just pc. Meaning, if they truly cannot revert (and just not wanting to) then the statement that they wanted everyone’s opinion is not entirely a truth but rather a false narrative to look better under a certain light. That puts a conflict between the two statements. Make sense. Like I said, I’m older and things don’t think out right like they used to.

I don’t see a complaint in there. I see a question of validity between two statements and feeling of being lied to or mislead.

@Ghouled_Mojo Gathering opinions implies there is an evaluation process in the making (that may or may not lead to a change). However, reverting is not the same thing as changing something. They could, for instance, tweak some of the animations in the future depending on the community reaction without entirely reverting it. So they are not contradictory even though I understand your way of thinking.

My question is.. why would console players like it? Banking on console players to be ecstatic seems dumb.
A lot of console users play on very large screens.. if anything, pc players would be the most likely to enjoy it, as they play closer to the monior.. and the majority of them seem to hate it!
