What perks non-meta do you typically run
Title says it all, I usually run Spies from the Shadows Iron Grasp and Deer Stalker when I feel like doing a non-meta build and one other perk when I feel like doing a non-meta build

I use vigil and fixated from time to time

Surveillance and Blood Warden are my jams. Surveillance because I think the info it gives you is criminally underrated and BW cause "LOL Cocky TBag survivor goes ahhhhhhhh"

Detective's Hunch, Balanced Landing.

Thats the same reason why I run Spies From the Shadows it feels so underrated in terms of surveillance, Deer Stalker while I don't slug very much and mainly us it for trying to put pressure on many people at once

Autodidact, Bamboozle and Surveillance (the best information perk for low mobility Killers, much better than BBQ).
2 -
Balanced landing doesn't seem like a bad perk, I don't play much survivor so i could be wrong but still I feel like it's better than a lot of other perks.

Wake Up. Its very helpful.

I've starting comboing Surveillance with Oppression on a few killers just to try it out. It's been a really strong combo as I get to watch a generator across the map turn white and stay that way until it regresses all the way (or I get my "The survivor is over here!!!" yellow flag pop up if someone wanders back over there).

Balanced fell from meta after the nerf, even Lithe is more used RN due to easier activation. The issue with BL is not the perk, but the maps. In some of them (ex: Shelter Woods) the only way to activate it is to drop into the basement because even hills will not spawn. It would be nice if the devs added some assets like the small stairs from Hawkins bc at the moment using it is risking entering a match with 3 perks.

Second wind. Autodidact. Forced Penance.

My entire build is non-meta perks.
Second Wind, Aftercare, Distortion and Lithe is usually my go-to build.

Distortion. I just love all the info it can give me about the killer and their build. BBQ, Nurse's Calling, Hex Undying, the ultra-rare Territorial Imperative that I am definitely never expecting... aura reading add-ons, even scratched mirror Meyers. I get a head's up on that before it bites me in the ass and I can plan accordingly. I wish there was a way to recharge tokens like pebble given just how much aura-reading there is in the game, but I still really like it.
I also really like Wake Up.
As for killer - Spies and the above mentioned Territorial basement sneak-peek. No one ever expects that perk and it's also so funny to catch that survivor looting the basement in the first 10 seconds of the game.

Aftercare. The amount of times this perk has saved me or my teammates is insane. So good and severely underrated. I definitely recommend solo players to give it a try.

I like your build. Is second wind good?
0 -
Not incredibly good. Very situational activation and there are a lot of situations where some stupid player self cares for a split second before you start healing them after an unhook. I would recommend trying it with We'll Make It if you want to.
Plus it got somewhat nerfed and buffed at the same time in this current patch. I made a whole post on Second Wind and it's 4.5.0 change two days ago if you want to check that out.

Yeah I understand that, I never thought about that part I was mainly just thinking about how low rank survivors drop down and end up giving me a free hit because they were not running Balanced Landing.

Selfcare with no mither
For real though, I like spies from the shadows a lot. I really want to make a fun basement build for killer and a fun anti hook build for survivor

Stake out or Resilience and Trail of Torment and ohh boy, let me tell you something about Trail of Torment, i caught so many unsuspecting survivors with this, it's so much fun :p

Windows of opportunity and Kindred.

Small Game, Built to Last, Streetwise, Dance With Me. Sometimes. Small Game more than the others.

There is a meme/somewhat effective build using Stake Out + This is not happening. If you keep landing great skill checks, you can keep the stacks from stake out, while gaining 2% progress bonus instead of 1% for each skill check basically reverting the nerf :P.

I almost always run a houdini build. Quick and Quiet, Dance with Me, Lithe and Iron Will
0 -
Dark Devotion and Surveillance
0 -
For killer I usually run Iron Grasp with Mounstrous Shrine and Dead Mans Switch for a basement build.
0 -
I never see people using Alert, I've been using it since i started playing and i can't play without it

Mettle of Man / Breakout / Sabotage / Dead Hard
Dead Hard is meta, I use it to milk extra swings out of the killer but, this is my favorite build. I don't consider it Meta because I usually end up dead. It's all about making those saves, so much fun!
