I just had a Nea body block me from being able to finish opening the gate after they 99ed it.
I was only able to open it after aggressively moving around and getting them to step away. I was going to report the player but then when I went into spectator mode to confirm the name my spectator mode glitched out again and I submitted the initial bug report for it last night. I understand that some survivors will 99 the gate to counter blood Warden however I do believe body blocking the exit gate switch should be a bannable offense, is it not?

Depending on the situation it may be a banable offense, it could go into intentional disruptive gameplay.

Any reason you didn’t just go to the other gate instead when she did that?

The way I see it, it depends if its tactical or not. If you two are the only survivors remaining in the trial, then that's body blocking and is bannable. If the killer is right behind you and you'll get downed because of the Nea, it is bannable. If the Nea is waiting to see if any other survivor gets hurt or downed so you have a much longer period of time to make the save / to counter blood warden, it is a tactical play to ensure as many survivors can escape as possible.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong as this is something I wouldn't want to spread false info about.

Intentional sandbagging goes into disruptive gameplay/trolling, like I said depends on the situation but seeing what OP posted I dont think that Nea was trying to avoid a Blood Warden situation and instead being a troll.

Yeh I think we need more info to determine if this is intentional sandbagging or a tactical play.
Can we have more info OP?

It's not bannable, you got another gate you are welcome to go to instead.
They don't just 99 for blood warden either - if another survivor is somewhere getting chased across the map and threat is not at the exit, you're just helping to kill that survivor by opening the gate. There will be less time to mount a rescue.
So that's probably why she blocked you.

Did you know sometimes there is a Killer on the map who is trying to kill the survivors? I guess he was worried of the high chance the Killer would find him as he walked across the whole map.

Because I had a key and I wasn't trying to die on account of her abject stupidity, and NOED was in play.

I thought that type of intentional sandbagging is specifically about being chased and the other survivor sandbags you. Not in situations where you're both safe and a survivor does a bit of sandbagging.

Let me be real with you OP. No one cares. The situation doesn't matter, its not bannable because no one cares. If they would have stayed in front of the gate with the killer and block you while they BOTH t bag its not bannable. Im pretty sure the report system is just there to make you feel better
Also if you want to play along with what the rules say even in this situation it wouldn't b. Against the rules because she didnt stop you from playing the game. He can say you were troubling by trying to open the gate because its subjective

Its not.

Its sandbagging with the aim to disrupt, there are more disruptive things like blocking during a chase (like you said) or blocking in a corner and lighter ways like intentionally blocking a Hex or the Gates with the Killer far away. In this case, what if the Killer comes with NOED and the open animation gives him that extra time he needs to down you because that Nea didnt let you open first?.
I mean I wouldnt report that Nea just for this but that player was being disruptive to his own team on purpose, unless there was some kind of tactical reason like trying to avoid a Blood Warden scenario.

You are 100% wrong.
And people on these forums DO care!

It's definitely rude, but I'm not sure it's against the rules. I had some random Ace dead hard so he could get to the gate before me and 99 it. As soon as he moved, I opened it and left just out of spite, even though I was going to 99 it anyway.

I assess the risk with in-game collapse rescues, and if it's not worth it, especially if no one escapes death is in play, I'm out that hoe. I don't mind helping when it's viable but I'm not going to get stupid over it.
