Steam offline error

So i got the new graphics update and stuff a few days ago now and since it got update it says steam offline, and i cant get my mouse in the game like it doesnt work as a application anymore. I cant go fullscreen also since i can see the border of my background of my laptop. The things i have tried to fix this are:

  • different wifi
  • reinstalling steam and dbd
  • asking in the discord for solutions
  • youtube vids
  • restarting my laptop
  • verifying the files
  • giving admin permissions to steam and dbd

Despite trying everything NOTHING worked. So it would be very appricated if someone could tell how to fix this or save me :(
