Teammate hook counter induces sellout/working with killer

On survivor side people can see how many times you've been hooked. I've had several games where teammates would notice I haven't been hook and they'll work with the killer and give away my position. This kind of thing happened even before the counter but now people can use the counter as an excuse. How is it my fault that the killer can't catch me half the time or I stay stealthy and not get found? I don't even hide in the corner during my matches and actually do gens.

I don't think the devs think about things like this. At least the killer can't see them cause that would induce sever tunneling.

Hmm, i wonder how many people couldnt count to three before the hook counter. People who intend to do it do it either way.

Not like survivors couldn't keep track before.

You know what im sorta glad we have the hook counter and portraits because if I'm playing solo and I have been hooked twice and I know the other survivors haven't been hooked yet im bringing the killer towards you.

Is this toxic? That's toxic, im sorry I should not.
