Sorry if the name is wrong btw, but lots of people are unhappy. I think I know why... they want the event to have free skins and they didn’t provide much cosmetics. But how do you guys feel about this event

Skins? Trash, like every year.
Every single hook and gen giving the event bonus? Good stuff, hope they keep this up with coming events

Cosmetics are decent, getting more points for free pretty much is nice. Solid 7/10 event. A bit underwhelming but at least it doesn't seem to be that bugged.

I like extra points and the items (it's been giving me 3rd year anniversary party starters as well which is pretty funny)
I don't like the new minigame where you unlock skins by putting in credit card details instead of doing anything in game but you can't convince them to do it any other way just as you can't convince any other bottom feeder to stop slurping algae off a pebble.

sucks like every event has since the 4th anniversary which at least that had really nice loading screens

Making every hook and gen an event one was a positive change so I appreciate the bonus blood points.
That's about all I'd say.
The event isn't making you do anything different or changes anything. It's just some cosmetic changes and some extra blood points for passively doing the exact same thing you would be doing otherwise.
I also find the skins pretty lackluster and think they could have done a lot better. I suppose that's more subjective though.
I would have liked to maybe see them fusing to be part demon/bull with black and red accent. A dark look. Instead we got WWE smackdown outfits that look like they're trying to be goofy rather than scary. Nothing about those outfits says "intimidating" or "horror" themed.

It's not really an event, just a celebration. Some extra BP, items, and cosmetics, that's all it is. I think it said in their news update that they'll be posting codes on their social media for free cosmetics, so there's that.
Only Halloween and DbD's anniversary are going to have actual events.

I understand that they said they would pull back on events and make them less. The reason was so they could focus on the game (balance and bug fixes). The problem i have is that we aren't getting these any faster than before.
Why can't they do minor changes every other week? Small number changes on perks or abilities dont take a ptb. Save those for new killers, reworks and major changes. Other games do this why can't dbd?

Would be nice if you could get more than 2 event items per bloodweb, all of my characters are at high levels, meaning that I have to spend about 50K points just to get 1 or 2 items.

They said big events are only anniversary and halloween. So bc of that i would say the event is good. I dont really need bloodpoints, but the event gens look good.

Very dispointed to see only two skins one you have to buy with money I'm guessing the codes are going to be watch this fog whisper stuff again *sighs* I honestly expected it but dispointed
just spent half a million on my boy jake got 3 firecrackers one tool box one advent ticket... Yet more dispointment as I love firecrackers so much lol yet to say nothing is making me want to take part.
Hopefully they get it together for Halloween 🤞🐷

I miss actual events with "eventful" mechanics like the Moonrise event.

I like that they made all gens and hooks event gens/hooks.
I wish that the items/offerings appeared waaaaay more in bloodwebs and chests. Only getting 1 maybe 2 per bloodweb is wicked lame.
