How would you want VR support implemented?
I want this to be a discussion more than a feature request, because I'm curious to pick some brains.
Personally, I think it would be only fun for immersion if the killer you're playing teleports for his main source of locomotion. Motion sickness would get too real, unless you're actually emulating some form of sitting or something we're comfortable with normally like driving.
However, I bet the main source of VR use for myself (if it's supported and I can't hack one together without risking getting banned) will be playing purely for more depth of field, like how the 3DS worked. So in my mind, I see it like how Majora's Mask 3D worked, where Link sticks out of the screen at an angle like a hologram, sort of.

I hope they dont implement VR-Support ever. IMO DBD should not have been released on so many Consoles in the first place, so it is imagineable that they implement VR-Support, but I really hope they dont do that.
I also dont know how enjoyable it would be, you would either have to tie it to Killer-only or give first person to Survivors. This might sound like some fun, but the majority of time you stare into a Gen. And for Killer...Does not sound that enjoyable to get stunned by a Pallet in VR.
But yeah, VR-Support would probably the most unneccessary thing that they can bring to DBD, so I guess they are already working on it for a long time, lol.

vsync fixes that 90% of the time.
the other 10% G-Sync/FreeSync make it much easier to tolerate.

My suggestion is to just use the headset as an alternative monitor with motion tracking, so you still need keyboard and mouse but can get realistic 3D effects out of it. Like, imagine it as just a screen in space (surrounded by whatever you want, really) but you're playing on that screen and blood literally flies out of it, or other 3D stuff happens like your character sticks out of it at certain angles, or your arms as the killer have a persistent very convincing 3D space effect going on which helps immensely with distances.

I could finally too my hat to survivors as Freddy when they give me a good pallet smack lol

ngl I'd start trolling freddies who interact with their hats. I don't know why but I don't like it.

the game on either role would probably get a lotta folkss easick even if they didn't stutter, using a perspective for survivors that would be alot less uncomfortable would require a closer to isometric view probably which would give way too much information and I won't even get started on killers
