Spectator mod stuck

After a couple of games, i tried to join spectator mod when three of us survivors died and it's one versus the killer, what happened exactly is i joined right when the last survivor died so i had the spectator mod HUD but i was stuck on the end-game screen, i couldn't neither spectate (obviously) nor LEAVE the game.
