Unhook cancel by hit

When u try to unhook a survivor being face camped and the killer hits u during the unhook it cancels the unhook has any one else experienced this?

Yes, this is what happens. It's the same as when being hit on a generator or an exit gate; basically everything but vaults is cancelled by damage.

Killer hit didn't use to cancel unhook

be happy he didnt grab you off the hook instead.
