Why it is kind of a 1.5x point event and not 2x. Survivors could get 5000 per completed gen. That roughly gives 25k instead 15k for a completed trial. And killers could get 3000 per hook. Since they can only get points for the first usage of a hook, they have a better chance to reach 25k.
This increase would give more incentive to burn these special offerings during events. Maybe it even gives a bit more meaning to event.

The New Years gens are 1k and 3k if envelope is burned (for that person). Completing a generator provides a neutral exchange, 2+ gives you a profit.
