We have temporarily disabled Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater Cosmetic (all queues) due to issues affecting gameplay.

Visit the Kill Switch Master List for more information on this and other current known issues: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/299-kill-switch-master-list

It's our fault.

Devs do whatever they want without listening the community, but we keep rewarding them by buying the dlcs and cosmetics from the store.

If the 70% of the community is casual and the 30% left are the experienced people who ask for changes, since they want money, they will obviusly take care of the casual people that keeps buying their stuff.

Would like to know what do you guys think about this, and if you just bought the game and still think wraith is OP, please do not give your opinion since it doesnt count. Thanks for your time.

No, they don't count or at least they should not count, since the casuals feels comfortable with everything and thats not a fair opinion.

Opinion should be taken from experienced people who wants the game to be FAIR, not buffed to their side, im not even asking for competitive people (i know this game aint competitive, but you know what i mean).

A great example would be the "buff" to dead hard. Yeah yeah, the DH its way better now! (never used that perk because i like lithe, but lets give a random opinion..) And then the devs hear those people and do what they do.

The casual base is not the driving purchasing power I would assume. You do need the game to be fun and enjoyable out of the box for casual and new players and, I think DBD struggles in that area. I think the changes are meant to make the game more enjoyable for newer players but, in the process they broke some key functionality of survivor and, it needs to be fixed, a.s.a.p.

    They only care about money.

I do think the casual people is the "power role" of this game, since the veteran players are lefting slowly.

Bad thing is that you cant see who bought the game 4 days ago, because now they re rank 1 because the system is broken.

Liked your comment, good day :P

Not really since casual players by definition don't tend to put in the same time or effort as experienced players.

In business take the Pareto principle of 20% of your customers will create 80% of your revenue. This theory would point more towards the experienced players since they have a lot more invested in the game with all the dlc so have more characters to buy the likes of skins for.

I dont think of the time/effort , but the money wasted... Im talking about someone who for example buys ghostface and then his original suit.

Devs take a look at the money they gained from this user than wasted like.. 15€? instead of how much is this guy playing.

This encourages devs to do what they want because they see they are winning, while the community is dying.

    wraith op pls nerf

the devs do listen when we're loud enough it's just a question of how long before their solutions actually come to live, they nerfed undying, they're nerfing ds and ooo, they're bringing colorblind accessibility options [finally], they're revising both the UI and the animations. imo the backlash just feels extra severe cuz the PTB seems pointless, they don't give themselves enough time to implement PTB feedback into live which makes everyone feel ignored and annoyed that we have to repeat ourselves and wait even longer for changes. good ideas terribly executed, that's how i feel about BHVR atm.

All this stuff is largely subjective nonsense. It is true that they listen to us less now, and it is true that it is our fault. It is not, however, for any of the reasons listed previously in this thread. We, collectively, are the little boy that cried wolf. Or, if you like the analogy better, we are the customer who complains about everything every time he/she comes into the same restaurant (which is often). At some point, people start tuning this channel out. It is all sound and fury, and thus nothing actually gets proper emphasis. So, no they do not listen to us that closely. Yes, it is our fault. We have made sure they no longer like us; they merely tolerate us because it is their job.

I'd qualify myself as a casual and I still think the new hud is atrocious.

They are interested in hearing their fans but quite late, especially when the damage has already been done.

It is possible that all cosmetics will continue to exist even if the price level drops to 10%.

Change can be caused if they change all of their conduct and decisions in the office.

They need to learn to communicate better.

In my opinion they don't want to be dependent on the opinion of the fans,

probably from the fear that some of them are teens and it may not be a good idea.

In general, they are a very strange company to me.

I was playing Paladins for a few years and they were similar to them when it came to bugs or changes.

But they talked to their fans and they cared about the quality of the game.

I guess DBD are planning to change the game and want to show everyone that they are making a good decision.

But the best way is by communication and less pricy things.

Yes but in theory most of the revenue comes from the experienced ones in the 30% bracket where your OP stated they listened to the casuals as they buy more.

A casual may buy a dlc and a skin but those who put in the most time and effort will more than likely buy more if not all the dlc and possibly a few skins plus buy the rift as they are more invested in the game and have the time to do it.
