Dbd Report system
I am currently really annoyed with the reporting a player system I tried reporting a survivor for showing the killer where I was and got told I need video evidence and a screen shot of the scoreboard why the hell should I have to take a video of every match I play just in case a moron tries ruining it for us and the email said if you see suspicious behaviour take a video what the hell is suspicious behaviour in this game, oh there's a Nea jumping a pallet near my head report it. Lol what a joke

I mean....yes they need evidence to punish an action....that's not really that unreasonable.
Not every game has a complicated and expensive replay recording system like league of legends does; in fact most games don't have anything like that. You generally need evidence for certain type of action oriented behaviour...This is not new to Dead By Daylight or online games in general.
We can't just ban people at some random person's word that would be ridiculous.

Not saying we should but with all the players the game has they should at least think more about a match replay rather than what chapter is next because I'm not a streamer and no way in hell am I going to record every match just in case

Most games can easily recreate matches from telemetry data. Dbd even records all the telemetry needed to do so, as well. This isn't some "complicated system", and it's pretty much industry standard for match based pvp games, especially ones that have any sort of competitive pretensions. BHVR just does not want to put forth the time, effort, and money to have folks reviewing it. I wouldn't be surprised if they never even bothered to code a tool to replay the telemetry. They collect it, since they use it for stats and balancing looks, but they ignore it for its most useful benefit - match review. By throwing the onus onto the players for not only reporting, but preemptively collecting all possible evidence from every single moment of gameplay, they create a plausible deniability for themselves so that they can greatly limit the number of legitimate reports they have to investigate without having to look like they're willfully ignoring them.

Actually almost every online games has a replay function. A "simple" way to have a replay function, is to save the game in a file in a repertory, and when you go watch the replay, you can switch between point of view of the players, like after escaping or dying, when you can see survivors' PoV, adding it the killer's PoV.
And you could enable or disable games saving in the settings.
And yes, I agree you have to give evidence when you report player(s).
