The quality of new survivor animations was not mentioned in Peanits' "4.5.0: NEXT STEPS" post.

One of the biggest complaints about the new animations is just how bad they look. Most of them are a direct downgrade to the old ones, ESPECIALLY the injured animations, which just make you look like you've soiled yourself. Instead they mentioned:

  • Removing camera position changes
  • Fixing some animation bugs
  • Reviewing turning animation to better reflect the old animations

I honestly even think these are bad. For example, if "Removing camera position changes" means removing the camera being lowered when downed, then that sucks, cause I thought that was a very cool and immersive thing. Obviously that's my opinion and anyone can disagree, but I think we can all agree that the new animations just look plain bad and ugly. They're held to such a much more lower standard.

@Peanits Can this be addressed? This was easily the #1 complaint by far.

Edit: Some people are actually getting motion sickness from the camera lower, but I don't see why you can't just add an accessibility option for this.
