It's fine. I don't like or dislike it anymore then the old HUD, and to be honest, I felt the outrage over the 4.5.0 one was way overblown.

I'm still struggling to get info I need without being distracted.

TBH most people didn't hate it cause it was new (as some claim), people severely disliked the new HUD because it undid things the old HUD did pretty well:
Providing Information effectively. The new HUD was all over the place and some new elements are still baffling. The Portraits, for example. Good idea, but if it's only the standard portrait it becomes a little absurd. If at some point they can show the character with the cosmetics they are wearing, then it'd be great, but right now it just feels off.
The general placement of things was the biggest issue. The old layout provided vital info at one glance. The new one had you flick your eyes all over the place (depending on your screen, though) drawing attention away from the central row where the action takes place.
And then we got the information that they 'cannot change it back without undoing the whole new system' which to many translated to 'this new UI will never be customizable' which felt like a great big middlefinger.

I really hate it, but I have to admit it's better then the first design. They are one step away from recreating the old HUD, all they have to do is rotate the survivor portraits horizontally and put it under the power and we're good. I don't know why they are being so stubborn in keeping it vertical, I've heard some rumors saying that it's to support longer names in other countries, but I don't see why a name being cut off was ever big enough of a problem to warrant ruining a HUD. If they insist on keeping the vertical portraits then at least give us an option that makes it the old HUD again it wouldn't be that hard.

If it's true about the long names, then there's still a problem with that: really long names will stick out ridiculously into the FOV.
It's better to put the survivor stats back to horizontal and switch the placement of the bleed-out bar and player name. If the player name is below the bar, then a long name can be split up into multiple lines.
Either that or the devs can just accept that no one really cares about player names that much. If they absolutely can't just split up or cut off the long names, they could give each survivor a short alias during the match and then show who's actually who on the end screen. Seriously, player names are the least important info and should have no influence on the HUD's design. The easy readability of the gameplay-affecting elements should take priority.

Unless they move the Survivor portraits back to the bottom-left, I just can't get jiggy with it.
Also it still says "remaining" next to the gen icon, which is totally unnecessary. And when the gens are done, it says "stop survivors from escaping." Really? Is that not obvious? It's a waste of space and feels like the game is holding my hand. Maybe when I down a Survivor it should say in big white letters "Hook the Survivor" too.

Not really... it still stinks how much it takes from your left side, specially since for some reason they insist on make it vertically, they could've kept it just as clean as the old UI, which was not impressive, but it was fine and it did its job, like really all they had to do was change the icons and we would've been good and dandy about it, but I guess they want it to look like a discord call now.

Hell no. It's just some ######### lazy way of saying "here, we heard you and fixed so please buy more stuff from our game"
It's completely ridiculous of how lazy these devs are. Just gives us a damn customizable UI and we'll be happy

The survivor information is still an eyesore. Any sort of information that comes out of that area is just bad. Hook timers, madness counter, stalk meter, it's just way more difficult to see than it was before.

That requires more than 20 minutes of work so it will never happen.

Yeah but no worries!!! They fixed the terrible cosmetic bug that allowed linked cosmetics to be broken

Its My favourite hud out of the three mind you addons don’t need to be so big

I prefer the community one, the adept icon with their health status.
Simple, and yet effective.

I still prefer the old HUD, the upcoming one looks way better than the current HUD, but I still don't like it, how it looks, how it's put together, the colorful icons (breaks the art of the game).

What do you mean "somewhat fixed"?
I just booted the game and the UI is still the exact same! Or are you just talking about that very clunky and still objectively bad twitter mock up they have shown?
At this point I've just decided to spend some time and make a UI doc for the devs, because I feel like they are in a dire need of it.
