Chapter Concept: The Shadows of Crotus Prenn

Killer name: The Shadow

Appearance: A tall, malnourished man with a squashed neck. Weapon is a spoon with the end broken off, leaving a sharp edge at the end. He breathes incredibly loudly, and it is apparent that such a simple task is difficult.

Speed: 115% (4.6 m/s)

Terror Radius: 32 meters

Height: Tall

Power: Shadow's Rage

Shadow's Rage can be used after holding m2 down for 1 second. Shadow's Rage has 3 Charges. It takes 60 seconds to gain a Charge back, but it can be used at less than max Charges. While holding m2, the Shadow cannot move, and for 2 seconds after canceling Shadow's Rage in the middle of charging it, moves at 100% speed. Charging for the full second makes the Shadow move forward 12 meters in a straight line, through walls at 1000% movement speed. Immediately after this is done, the Shadow can start charging again, but each consecutive use slows it down by 250%, and can't go through walls. After Shadow's Rage is started, it cannot be prematurely ended. After Shadow's Rage ends, the Shadow is slowed down to 80% speed for 1 second, +.5 seconds for each additional Charge spent. The Shadow can lunge at 75% lunge distance after Shadow's Rage, but missing the attack will extend the slowdown time by 1 second.

Add-ons

Add-ons are really hard to consistently make, so I'll go through the list of general effects they'd have and then do the iridescent add-ons.

  • Slightly/Moderately/Considerably decreases the time it takes for Shadow's Rage to recharge. Slightly/Slightly/Moderately increases the stun time after using Shadow's Rage.
  • Slightly/Moderately increases the speed the Shadow moves during Shadow's Rage. Slightly increases the time it takes to activate Shadow's Rage.
  • Slightly/Moderately decreases the stun time after using Shadow's Rage. Slightly increases the time it takes to recharge.
  • Slightly/Moderately/Considerably increases the speed of each consecutive Shadow's Rage. Moderately decreases the speed of the initial Shadow's Rage.
  • Slightly increases the range of the initial Shadow's Rage.
Iridescent Add-ons
  • Iridescent Spoon - Reverses the speed change between each individual Shadow's Rage. Slightly increases the stun time for each consecutive Shadow's Rage.
  • The Nurse's Keepsake - An old wedding ring, burnt from the hatred of a murderer. Each Shadow's Rage can go through walls. Considerably decreases the speed of the initial Shadow's Rage. Moderately decreases the Shadow's walking speed.
Perks

Choking Presence - Survivors within 24 meters of a hooked Survivor make no noise, but are afflicted with the Oblivious status effect. This lasts for 8/12/16 seconds after leaving the radius around a hooked Survivor, or after that Survivor is unhooked. All other Survivors within 24 meters of a Survivor when they are unhooked are marked with Killer's Instinct for 5 seconds.

Acceptance - When a Survivor is unhooked, this perk gains 1 stack. For each stack, you move 1% faster. If a generator is completed when a Survivor is currently hooked, see the auras of all injured Survivors within 16 meters of you for 3/4/5 seconds.

"I'm used to being trapped and forced to do things I don't want to do, get over it." - "The Bad Man"

Hex: Shadow's Touch - After injuring a Survivor with a basic attack, no other Survivors can see that Survivor or see their aura for 30/45/60 seconds, or until they are downed. If a Hex totem is destroyed, the Survivor who destroyed it is Blind and Oblivious for 90 seconds.

Survivor Name: Arreta Elliot

Gender: Female

Eye Color: Blue

Hair Color: Brunette

Hitbox: Standard female hitbox

Perks

Panicked Dash - While injured, clicking the Active Ability Button will give 200% Haste for 1 second. This causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds. Cannot be used while Exhausted. Exhaustion doesn't recover while running.

Cautious Approach - The Killer can be unpredictable, it's best to take a step back and make a plan. For 5/6/7 seconds after another Survivor is hooked, see the Killer's aura. The Killer cannot see your aura for 2 seconds after hooking a Survivor, and for 30 seconds after a Survivor is unhooked.

Eyes Open - See the auras of all blocked objects within 48/64/80 meters. If you are inflicted with the Blindness status effect, all auras within 24 meters of you are still visible.

The killer power seems very similar to Nurses, but aside from that I like the rest.

That's mostly by design, as a more moderate Nurse that prioritizes speed over... ignoring everything in the game.

Also, as a victim of the Nurse, I'd think the comparison is valid. With the breath she stole from her patients and coworkers, the Nurse can teleport, and without breath so can the Shadow.

Also, forgot to add this, the map would be another one in the Crotus Prenn realm. Exactly of what I'm not sure, but yeah.

    Changelog:

Removed the decreased recharge rate of the Nurse's Keepsake add-on.

Changed Acceptance to have the aura reading to when a Survivor is hooked rather than when no Survivors are hooked.

Decreased the time it takes to get a charge back from 90 to 60 seconds.

    Changelog:

Decreased the charge time of Shadow's Rage from 2 seconds to 1 second.

Increased the speed the Shadow moves at once Shadow's Rage ends from 30% speed to 80%.

I know it's been awhile, but I did want to update this.
