When do you know you've won even when you lost?
Personally for me, it's when the killer is so bad they resort to either slugging/facecamping while frantically shaking "no" at you. It never fails to make me chuckle.

If all my chases were sub 15 seconds on killer and still lost. Losing when you never got outplayed but gens were simply too fast. Most frustrating feeling.

Getting facecamped after leading them around way too long. Bonus points if it's EGC and you run out the timer.

When survivors t-bag in the exit gate and you manage to down one and hook them leading to a snowball effect.

When I die but the rest of my team escapes.

When survivors get only 3 gens done, half team died and half escaped trough the hatch. But it doesn't feel like a victory though.

When I still manage to 4k during egc because the survivors became overaltruistic.

I know it will sound corny and old-fashioned but I've "won" every game where I've given 100% regardless of the outcome. The joy is in the challenge, not the result. You do your best, you learn something in every match, and you take the good with the bad. In short, I won the second I took a stand, fought the good fight, and finished the game. Like I said, it is an old-fashioned notion.

4 WGLF stacks even if you die
Looted a good item while you have a white ward whiteout an item

Pipping despite dying/losing as survivor/killer will always count as a victory to me no matter what.

When you get destroyed by a toxic SWF but they burned Gruesome Gateau & Bloody Party Streamers so you got over 100k BP.

I've had games where I slugged to keep the game interesting and yet 2 of them escape anyway. I could have won but took my foot off the pedal kinda performance. For me a 3k is a win, 2k is a draw. 1k is like a 2-1 defeat in football.

if i'm playing survivor i've won if i juke the killer so hard he has to stop and think for a few seconds/make a really stupid play and it works
if i'm playing killer it's the same thing
i just like funny outplays :)

I know I've won or lost when everyone's dead or escaped. Otherwise, anything could happen.

The best feeling is when I lead a 5-gen chase as survivor & get facecamped in the end. Sure, you got me, but at what cost?
The cherry on top would definitely be my teammates saving me with Borrowed Time & a gate 99'd, but this is solo queue, get real.

Same, once I got my 4 stacks of bbq and a sufficient amount of action for bp in I am satisfied.

As a survivor: When I have fun. I dont know why but I dont have any frustration as playing survivor.
As Killer: Never. losing as killer feels just bad. Even if you get three survivors and the last one escapes through hatch it feels like a loss, because most of the times they will wait until youre there before exiting. This feeling of not being able to do something is kinda like a loss even if i got the other three.

I know I have won the game when I 5 gen the killer, die on purpose, he facecamps me and still says "trash Nancy" in lobby
