I'm having a really hard time with this one right now. I'm not a great killer to begin with,, and I'm just trying to get the Adept achievements. It's almost impossible with how rampant toolboxes are from the event, and certain killers really have no form of gen slowdown, so nearly every match is over in minutes, typically before I can even get a third hook.

Any tips on trying to get these? It's very challenging trying to achieve trying to pull out a Merciless victory when survivors just have to hold W to win most chases.

    Its funny how survivor adepts are 10 times easier than killer ones but only advice i can give you just keep trying and you'll eventually get it done.

    Once MMR is live the rank will reset to 20 every month. On lower ranks it is was easier to get a merciless=double pip.

    for general adept tips: you kind of have to focus on two survs, don’t camp. Get them out with 3 hooks each. Ideally gens didn’t fly in the meantime and now you have to hope the others are altruistic enough to unhook eachother still. If you only ever get one, slug them, either search for the other or break stuff until the slugged one stands. This is also good if you have one-hit downed the first Survs with your power because that means you had not enough hits for the emblem..

    on lower ranks you can also get a merciless if last one escapes through hatch. If you had enough hits and hooks..

    Also don't forget to use your power I know some matches I'd get them down so quickly I forgot that I didn't get enough points in the deviousness category (I think that's the right one). With the update I managed to get 5 in one day😄 granted they were green and purple ranks but I don't really care.

    Like previously posted you don't have to 3 hook them all, I think you only need 9-10 hooks for iridescent someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

    I haven't seen that much event toolboxes to be honest. Maybe once in 10 matches. Also in almost none of my bloodwebs as survivor spawns one. Maybe I just have luck as killer and bad luck to RNG as survivor?

    Just wait until the rank reset takes you back to 20, it's far far easier to get a Merciless due to the pip requirements in these ranks.

    Getting a merciless is difficult at high ranks because efficient teams pop gens faster than you can handle by chasing and 12 hooking everyone (which is basically what you need to get merciless). This is even worse if you're running an Adept build with pretty bad perks.

    Also don't forget you can run any OP add-ons to help, just the perks need to be the 3 teachables.
