Legion Rework Concept

Basekit Changes
- You can see scratch-marks and blood pools during Feral Frenzy, but you cannot see scratch-marks and blood pools while Killer Instinct is active.
- Feral Frenzy cooldown duration reduced to 2.5 seconds by default
- If you end Feral Frenzy by hitting a survivor in Deep Wounds or by missing an attack, the cooldown duration is increased by 0.5 seconds.
- Hitting a Survivor with a basic attack no longer depletes 50% of your power’s gauge.
Add-on Changes
- Fuming Mix Tape: During Feral Frenzy; whenever you hit a Survivor; gain a 25% stackable negative bonus to Deep Wounds timers when you put a survivor into Deep Wounds. This effect lasts until the power gauge is depleted. Changes the Chase Music if this is your leftmost add-on.
- Frank’s Mix Tape: When a Survivor is Mended or Mended another Survivor, reveal their aura(s) for 4 seconds. During Feral Frenzy, you can see the auras of Survivors affected by Killer Instinct. Changes the Chase Music if this is your leftmost add-on.
- Stab Wound Study: When a Survivor enters Deep Wounds, all Survivors in your Terror Radius have their Mending progress reset.
- Cold Dirt: Hitting a Survivor highlighted by Killer Instinct while in Feral Frenzy applies the Incapacitated Status Effect, until they Mend. If they enter the Dying State before Mending, the Status Effect lasts for an additional 5 seconds.
- Julie’s Mix Tape: Very Rare, During Feral Frenzy; you become Undetectable. Increases Killer Instinct detection range by 24m. Changes the Chase Music if this is your leftmost add-on.
- Joey’s Mix Tape: Reduces the cooldown duration by 0.5 seconds. Changes the Chase Music if this is your leftmost add-on.
- Susie’s Mix Tape: During Feral Frenzy, movement speed is increased to 150%. This effect lasts until Killer Instinct is active. Changes the Chase Music if this is your leftmost add-on.
- Filthy Blade: Rare
- Nasty Blade: Uncommon
- Never Sleep Pills: During Feral Frenzy; gain a 5% stackable movement speed bonus each time you hit a survivor. This effect lasts until the power gauge is depleted.
- Friendship Bracelet: Grants 250 bonus bloodpoints when you hit a survivor while in Feral Frenzy. Decreases Feral Frenzy movement speed to 120%.
Notes
- A lot of the weird restrictions Legion has on their power were removed. They may have made sense when Legion was first released, but they don’t make as much sense anymore.
- The Fuming Mixtape change was to add a single add-on for downing survivors while in Feral Frenzy. Something not completely unfair, but an option for the sake of interesting diverse builds. For the sake of fairness, it’s even an iridescent add-on. Hence Fuming Mix Tape became an add-on that encourages and rewards chain-frenzying.
- How Fuming Mix Tape works is that each survivor hit has a stacking 5-second reduction to their timers. The first survivor hit now only has 15 seconds, then 10 seconds, then 5 seconds, and then every subsequent hit will down Survivors.
- Fuming Mixtape will not down the 3rd Survivor if they are hit twice, as they are already in Deep Wounds, but it will down the first Survivor if you hit them again, after they have Mended.
- Cold Dirt Incapacitating Survivors has two effects; it stops survivors from working on gens until they’re forced to mend and it means during the end-game, survivors are forced to mend before they can leave the exit-gates.
- Susie’s Mix Tape allows you to more easily use Feral Frenzy for mobility.
- Due to the way Killer Instinct Detection Range increasing add-ons work, if you’re undetectable you still gain Killer Instinct on Survivors but only for the distance the add-ons increase. Because I’ve changed the Detection Range add-ons, and to add a very gimmicky but interesting add-on, Julie’s Mix Tape provides both a Detection Range increase and the Undetectable Status Effect.
- Each of the Mix Tapes have their effects changes to reflect their music, Julie’s dark and depressing music makes you stealthy, Joey’s chillaxin’ music reduces the fatigue duration, Susie’s fast and thrilling music increases your speed, Frank’s kill music gives you information while in a Frenzy, and finding survivors to chase afterward, and the Fuming Mix Tape’s dark and violent music helps down Survivors, further the Entity’s cruel ritual.
- Mix Tapes change the chase music because they’re mixtapes, so why not? The leftmost restriction is in case you’re using 2 Mix Tapes.
- Stab Wound Study helps increase mending times further than the blade add-ons but requires more active input and survivors have more counter-play.
- I don’t think the blades are worth their rarity, and they were reduced.
- Never Sleep Pills make you faster while chain-frenzying. Caffeinated Pills to keep you going full-speed while doing your work.
- I like the dumb meme bp add-ons, so Friendship Bracelet became one. It works even if you frenzy an injured Survivor, for more bp opportunities when Survivors don’t heal and you never need to use your power.

I... huh... Usually there's something I Object to but this is pretty good. Unusual. Well done.

Me, a legion main seeing the title: oh no. Prepare for your edgy teens to get nerfed to the ground.
Actually reads post: *Happiness noises*

thank you, I put a lot of thought into it
There's no fun in a nerfed-to-the-floor killer!

I really only have 2 small issues with this rework. First one is... no killer really needs one of those "Take a debuff for more BP" addons, so I'd rather we not turn Friendship Bracelet to that. Depending on your play style, extra detection range on Frenzy can be really useful so just buffing Friendship Bracelet to 8 or maybe even 12 meters would be good. Second one is that having the default Cooldown be only 2.5 seconds might be way too strong. That one might need some testing but gut reaction is that that's too low.
Overall though? I really like it.

Yeah, that's completely fair. If Friendship Bracelet wasn't a bp add-on, I would've done an 8m Detection Range increase, to better combo with Julie's Mix Tape. It being a bp add-on was a completely personal choice.
The Cooldown might be too short, but I think it's balanced by the extra penalty for displaying. It might potentially need to be increased if this was actually added to the game. I might've over-reduced it as an overreaction to 4-seconds being too high, but I don't think it's too far off the mark.
I'm happy you like it though :)
