How most of my games go

Killer:
The match starts
I patrol my gens
One gen pops, ok that's fine
I find a survivor the chase begins
It was a short 30 second chase
Survivor gets hooked, 2 gens done in that time
I patrol the other gens, survivor is rescued and I find one other person
Another short chase and they get hooked
All gens done and exit gates are powered
I'm forced to camp the last survivor so I can get at least one kill
The match ends and I take my L

Survivor:
I spawn in, I get on a gen and the killer is nearby
I crouch and try to hide
The killer sees me and chases me
I lead the killer on a very long chase and only 2 gens done
Killer hooks me an all my teammates are nearby
One person tries to save me buts gets grabbed and DC's
The killer chases after someone else
The killer catches that person very quickly
I go into struggle
Someone saves me
The other person gets hooked
I run over and save that person safely
I accidentally run into the killer
He chases me
Another long chase
Killer finally catches me and I get hooked
Only 1 gen was done that chase

I swear when I play killer all I get is 5 minute matches that aren't even fun and when I play survivor my teammates act like bots. Am I doing something wrong???
I'm glad I took a break from this all day and played something else

    It's too true.

Hit the "Play As Killer" button and BHVR's matchmaking me will find me an all-star SWF team, with coordination and planning skills that would make the SAS jealous. They'll be better equipped than Bond, and traverse the map with the grace of the Russian state ballet.

Hit "Play As Survivor", and the matchmaking algorithm trawls for three cretins.

Edit: Of which, at least two will be Jake Park.

Sounds like you didnt lobby dodge that SWF and that you play solo-survivor.

camping works really well against many SWF because they are over altruistic, but ofc you can lobby dodge them too if you want

I am competent! I just can't seem to pip since the rest of my team doesn't know what a generator is, or how to repair one.

    Seriously!!!

Practically every time I play killer most of the time the survivors are pros with bloody shirts who literally run circles around me.

When I play survivor, if the killer doesn’t kill all 3 others in 2 minutes then it’s the other survivors who will sell you out, screw you over, and play for the hatch if gens get to 3.

You guys don't understand, so let me let ya'll know how it works. When you click survivor, you're the fourth character in ed, edd, and eddy. If you play as killer, you're the white girl in black poles in tiny white hole and when the heartbeat starts in the lobby you're opening your a$$ and the survivors are closing the door to give you a pounding because they are the expandables and you're gonna look beat up and deflated like an expendable condom.

    Too true.
I'm almost retired as a killer outside of rituals.
Why do i want to deal with a 3 to 4 swf? Gotta dodge lobbies!

I do decent as a survivor. Never going into high ranks since i expect to die. Still usually fun.

Everyone's saying dodge the swf but I'm at rank 1 and the que times have been quite longer than usual. Longest time I've waited in a lobby was around 15 minutes. I found lobbies quicker when bloodhunt happened than right now.

I am sort of in the same boat.

Usually when I play as the Killer, I get three kills.  Sometimes four.  I also avoid camping and tunneling hardcore because I hate when it happens to me when I play as a Survivor but it turns into a loss of Bloodpoints.  When I go against a toxic SWF group, I am lucky to get one kill.  The only time I will ever be a little campy is when I know there are players near the person I just hooked because I did not see their aura when BBQ & Chili procked.

When I play as a Survivor, I get stuck with the most incompetent players for the most part.  I am usually the one who gets generators done while everyone else is screwing around.  Sometimes I get matched with a Killer who will camp and tunnel a single person.  And that person is usually me.  Sometimes I get fed up with that stupid ######### because it is not enjoyable and I will call them out on it.  The response I usually get is that “Git gud” bullshit.  What the hell am I supposed to do when the Killer tunnels me for over a minute, downs and hooks me, then waits for me to get unhooked just to tunnel me again?  I will never disconnect even though I want to throw my head through a wall because I might as well scrounge a few thousand Bloodpoints.

This game is definitely a double-edged sword from time to time.  It ultimately depends on the players.
