Killer's Basic Attack hit Two Survivors at the same time

It happens quite often to me recently when I was playing survivor. I used to rescue my teammate and take a hit from a killer in order to let my "Injured" teammate escape from the killer, but somehow the killer's basic attack hit both of us at the same time. I'm not sure how does it works but this is quite annoyed me. Is this a new Game Mechanics from DBD or just a BUG? Or is it Hit Validation problem? And it mostly happens when two survivors stand in a row in front of a killer

    It's not hacking, I already know how to abuse it, not going to but I'm also reporting that.

    Not fun for the survivor side at all.
