Perk musing: Sightjacking

I know there's a lot of talk about OoO, and this perk would be very similar to it, but I'm spitballing here.


If you've played the Siren games, you're no doubt familiar with this term and already can guess how it works. For DbD, I'm thinking of the ability for 1 Survivor (the Obsession) to see what the Killer player sees for a limited duration. Of course, the Killer player would have to know they're being sightjacked, and the player using it will become immobilized during its used followed by some other drawback (Exhaustion, I guess).


This does come across the issue of multiple people using the perk. To give it some benefit outside of that, I guess it can allow non-Obsession players to see totems, dull and Hex, for a brief time if a Killer passes it in a certain radius. Again, I'm spitballing. This could end up with the potential to be the most toxic perk of all thanks to SWF squads, so I have no desire to see it actually implemented, but I figured I'd tell a musing that's been in my head lately. 😀
