What is scott jund's opinion on demo? I never see him playing him.
I know originally i saw he thought he was strong but his opinions change a lot. Does anyone who watch his streams know?

What happened with spirit and oni. Im just asking lol. Part of one of his stream highlight vids had him saying he explained his opinion but it never shoeed it and im curious.

Jund complained about Oni and Oni had his flick nerfed, and then IIRC Jund complained again until he got it back.
Spirit - Jund started the "you just need good headphones" line. Before that there wasn't too many complaints about spirit, then his fanboys started spreading the meme and you end up in 2021 where every other day someone complains about spirit taking no skill other than good headphones

Also started the whole deathslinger is boring debacle.
I like Jund, he's a really smart fellow but he needs to realise his fan base isn't.
Everytime he states an opinion they take it as fact. Even if he clearly states it to be a opinion

What happened to oni? He is currently one of the most Balanced killers in the game. As for spirit his opinion is very fair Imo

He plays him occasionally from what I’ve seen so he doesn’t hate him like slinger for example

To be fair,his flick on PTB (being able to 180 flick) was waaay too strong but the devs went too hard on Oni and reduced his flick to about 45 degree to the sides (which was too weak),but later corrected it to 90 degrees.

What this thread has taught me is that everyone blames Scott for everything they disagree with and pretend he's at the epicenter for the hate of unfair killers.
I wonder how long before someone calls me a mindless sheep that takes everything he says as gospel just for pointing that out?

That's usually because Scott puts out a video saying something, and then everyone online starts repeating it. Maybe he isn't the one that starts it but its first noticed when he puts out a video.

Are you implying the devs literally change the game based on what Scott Jund says? Because considering all the amazing ideas he has put forth that have been ignored I find that doubtful.

If I'm not mistaken, he complained about the 180 flick, which was absolutely ridiculous and needed change. I'm not entirely certain about this, but I believe I can recall him advocating for a 90 degree flick as well. The main change he suggested immediately after PTB was to change his mallet AOE. It's easy to make someone a villain when you leave tidbits of information out.

I haven’t played DBD long enough but I’ve went back to many posts in 2018 when Spirit was new and many people said Spirit’s skill ceiling was really high back then and now that everyone started hating on her, people brought on the headset narrative.

Maybe Jund didn't start it but I remember the very video where he made that comment and then all of a sudden Spirit hate skyrocketed overnight. Before that not too many people complained.

I mean, Scott wasn't wrong about his opinion on Spirit. Seems like he got Oni in a good spot now.
Back onto Spirit, maybe many people began to think she was broken but most resisted to state their opinion on her publicly until Scott stated what he thought. A larger content creator can convince people why they think their opinion is right. I think Scott Jund has made a lot of good points and he's doing the community a favor.

I don’t necessarily think Spirit is the hardest killer but people that say she takes 0 skill don’t have a brain or are just exaggerating when they say that. If the devs end up bringing the breathing bug Spirit had back in October, I’m gonna say to survivors, “all you need to do to counter Spirit is wear a headset.” 🤣

Im looking at these comments and i dont know much about scott but i see a lot of people attacking his fanbase for being stupid, but i think that's a little unfair. Its more like Dbds fan base is stupid right lol

I'm not a big fan of scott or anything but at least when he post videos he gives explanations that make sense on why he would say that instead of just complaining with no real ground to stand on, I may not agree with everything he says but I get why he talks about some of those issues and can at least respect his view of it.
