Why hate on players so much because of their platform?
I’m a PC player and I see so many other PC players bash console players just because they play on console. This is also towards console players that do the same to PC players but I see PC players do it way more. Let me just ask: why? What makes you feel the need to judge someone based off which platform they’re on?
I remember one time I played Pig against 4 PC red ranks. It seemed like it was SWF based off the way they were playing. I 4ked the match with 2 DCs because that’s just DBD culture right there. One of the survivors in the post game chat said “figured you’d be a console pig judging off how much you camped.” Considering that I was only near the hook because of their overly altruistic play style. Let me just cut to the chase as I’m genuinely curious why people have this stereotypical mindset. I’m not trying to come after anyone, I just really want to know why people have this mindset because this is another thing that keeps the community so divided.

Because the vast majority of crossplay killers in my experience camp, tunnel, and bm. However that doesn’t exclude pc killers but the main identifier for it being a console killer is when they whiff.

And still, pc players are against console only crossplay tho. It is weird. If they hate us so much why play with us?
I hope not everyone is the same.

The truth is they don't know if they're console or not , windows store also has the globe icon in matches but apparently it strokes their ego to think that way like it matters regardless because skill isn't defined by a platform that brand new ps5 doesn't make you a better killer/survivor and that 5000 dollar pc doesn't mean you're gonna run circles around everyone, As a pc main who also occasionally plays on ps4 my view of it is it's easier to become a high skill survivor on controller due to the way it functions and being able to look behind while running and not having to worry about hitting a few different buttons, as to where pc survivors have more control of their survivor when they master kb and mouse but it takes more skill and time invested to get used to with the skill ceiling being undoubtedly higher on pc , as for killer it is hands down better on pc there's no denying the difference of sensitivity and ease of using kb and mouse compared to a controller and the fps drops that happen on console.

Cause PC killers BM for no reason

My guess is that they only want faster queue times.
And no, not everyone is the same, luckily.

I am sorry but usually consele killers camping and tunnelling. Pc killers doesnt need that usually.
All console gamers not bad but console more crowded than pc players (xbox + ps). This increases the likelihood of hosting more bad gamers. That is only reason. But i saw so much good console gamers too, for that i never insulted them like that.

Yeah I see what you mean there. Playing killer on controller with those FPS drops looks painful and I gotta give the people that put up with it credit.

Yikes after these responses I will definitely turn crossplay off since I don't have any q problems with it disabled anyway.

Is this post about a certain Devotion 30 gamer who despite having almost 10,000 hours still doesn't look behind them in a chase?

Because it's always the console Freddies, man.

So true both console and Pc

The PC players are the ones that started it, cause you get people like Pug who has to make an overused joke of saying console players are bad.

I think people see what they want to see. There’s very little difference between survivors regardless of platform.
Console killers whiff a bit more for obvious reasons
pc survivors tend to hold onto the gen until the last second then run, console survivors play safer and start running early which is actually more annoying because it would take forever to catch up. However this isnt consistent its just something I sometimes notice
Overrall they’re mostly the same but I do feel console has more SWF

I mean, it's always been a thing. So far as I can tell it started with PC players touting themselves as the master race, and it never stopped.

there is nothing more fun than monitor, distressing, and insidious when camping on wraith

I was hoping someone would mention that.
As a PC player I have no problem with console players, I just prefer playing with crossplay off because, well, no offense, but PC players are uh, more skilled. I understand why it's harder for the console players though.

Have you played killer on console?

Pretty please borrow a friend's PS4 or whatever and give it a go. Tell us what you think.

There's using facts and logic, like the fact that a mouse and keyboard is better than every way than a controller. Then there's people stereotyping like "All console players are bad." even though that's based on nothing.

Awesome, but do it for free on a friend's system. Appreciate your support in understanding the console life.

I play on PS4 and I've never sent a crap message to another player. But before I turned it off, I received some nasty messages from survivors post match.
I went out on a limb once and asked one if she always treated brand new players that badly. She replied "Only if they're on PS4".

This is just my opinion, no evidence to back it up. I think the reason PC hates console is because people feel console holds back PC. The game was designed for PC at first and then they ported it to console for more money. That at first caused issues with DLC. Characters that came out on PC weren't released on console till a week later for some reason. I seem to remember some patches were ready to go on PC but were delayed until the console version was ready. That doesn't happen anymore thankfully. The game has a lot of bugs and many people are unhappy with it. Any effort spent into fixing the game is essentially divided across all the different platforms. Every patch there are new bugs. Sometimes there's bugs that only affect consoles and that's more problems to fix. When it was PC only everyone was working to fix the one platform. With more platforms that's splitting up the crew and adding more time to get anything done.
Before someone gives me the "It's a different team" excuse. I'll tell you the same thing I always say when someone brings that up. Any resources put into Plan B are resources being taken away from Plan A. Instead of paying for another team they could have spent that money to hire more employees for the main team.

Because people are idiots, honestly the only disadvantage that console has is crappy fps and not being able to use nurse and huntress to the fullest potential.
I've lost streaks against console players more often than against pc players.
People think that just because we play on pc we are already better than console players, which in fact is wrong.
This is coming from someone who played on ps4 until last year.

Spoiler Alert:
It's choppy framerate and FPS everytime you get bloodlust,a survivor loots a chest, often times when exhaustion perks are triggered etc.
Something like this (and this one is pretty tame because i got the hit anyway):
I can't tell you how many games i've lost because of FPS drops.

I mean....almost every console player t-bags and BMs people on hook and such.
I don't get that from most PC players.
If console players would stop doing that, I would stop hating them so much.

whatever platform you're on, I hate you for it, regardless of which one it is. I believe in equal opportunity discrimination.
